Once the dev/s fix all of the UI and navigation bugs, this will be a fun little time waster. As it is now: - you can't quit, so ALT+F4 just to close the game. - going to character shop drops the game to 3-4 fps. - the music volume doesn't save. - there are no other options. ---> which is a real problem since the game sounds stack very easily to such high volumes to damage your speakers. - menus navigation is buggy making selecting things problematic. The game is cheap enough that these aren't too much of an issue, but damn, this definitely feels like a first year Game Design uni students project. There was clearly little to zero testing (or just exceptionally poor testing). In terms of bang for your buck, there's maybe 10 hours of content given the amount of characters to try.
Oyun erken erişimde olduğundan bir kaç küçük eksiği var fakat oynanışı etkilemiyor tam sürümü çıktığında muazzam bir oyun olucak canınız sıkıldığında girip oynamalık türden. Türk yapımcılar oyunu geliştirip çıkarttığı içinde RedPunch Studios!a teşekkür eder ve bol kazançlar dilerim.
Honestly this game just feels really incomplete. The title screen when your first enter the game looks like it's meant to be some BattleRoyale but it isn't at all. The first map given to you is very plain with nothing really happening, it's just a gray dungeon like area. Second off, the character selection screen is very buggy and drops your frames to 10-15 so it's hard to buy any characters at all. Cons: -Few skills to unlock when leveling up -The start of the game feels very slow and it feels like you are powerless -For the price (6.99) the game at this state seems like it is not worth it. -Skills seem basically useless since they do little to no damage -Not much variety of skills when playing -Sound setting does not change -No graphic setting -Only one sound to decrease or increase (music) -Cannot change resolution or aspect ratio Pros -A lot of characters so there is a lot of options -It is still in early access and looks like it has so much potential -Price won't change once fully released so the game will only get better -Very good concepts, just not used to there fullest -Promised online multiplayer in the future -Ranking system which makes the game feel rewarding Overall, this game seems like it'll be amazing in the future and it has a lot of potential. However for now the game just is not as fun as it seems to be.
First of all, I wanted to stop and give a review because I had so much fun with the game. The game has many features that distinguish it from other genres, and it must be tried and played.
I like this game and I can play it for the rest of my life.
I'm very sure it's the best game in this genre. I'm impatiently waiting for the online mode.
I love indie games and I love to support indie devs. But unfortunately, I really can't recommend this game at the moment.
It is just straight up incomplete to the point you can't quit it. Yes, literally, the game doesn't have a proper menu. It meets you with a chaos of random confusing icons, banners, your ranking, season, a news icon that just ALWAYS MOVES... Alright, alright, let's begin from the first point: menu. It is confusing. Giant empty space in the center instantly makes me wonder why. Turns out your last character will stand there. I think the character is not only too big, but could stand somewhere on the side instead, no need for them to take 70% of the screen. I'd rather see a normal looking menu: slightly bigger "START" and "SHOP" buttons, then ranking, settings and EXIT. Please add the exit button, it is really frustrating to quit with alt+f4 every time. My second point: settings. It is completely useless. I had a need to enter it when noticed that sounds stack and are too loud while the music is too quiet. What I noticed is there is ONLY A MUSIC SLIDER. Why only it? I would love to see both music and sound slider in the future, please. And a screen resolution choice. These are the basics of game settings after all. Third point: gameplay. I am not that much of an analytics guy so apologies, can't tell which mechanics are underpowered/overpowered. But I can say that, as a fan of roguelikes, I wasn't having fun. Confusion reached me once again right in the first round, when I couldn't figure out how to attack. But I figured it out eventually, in practice. Because for some reason I can't see what any of the characters actually do, only see an icon of their ability and... An ultimate? They have ultimates? Are they active abilities? How do I activate them? Controls screen doesn't tell anything about it! So many questions, and no answers. Most of the abilities you get for level-ups are close-ranged which doesn't make sense really in terms of balance because long range enemies show up pretty early and your tiny tiny circle of daggers pretty much does nothing against them. Also, please find another use for the shop. It can appear at a random location and you literally can get stuck in it, where enemies pile up on you and boom. BUT. But most of my deaths were... By lava. I thought lava is just a barrier that makes arena smaller. Nice touch of rising difficulty! But it doesn't prevent you from walking on it, and doesn't deal periodical damage either. IT JUST KILLS YOU ON CONTACT. GAME OVER. I never understood what killed me at random moments of walking near the edge, before realizing it was the lava all along. Skill issue? Maybe. Fourth point: shop and pets. You do get a fair amount of coins each run and can save up for a better character. But what's the point if I can't see what abilities do they have? Also, I don't get the bundle mechanic. Why should I buy a character with a costume and some chest? What will this chest even contain? No idea, and I don't really want to know. Character sprites look average. I am a pixel artist myself, but can appreciate the simple artstyle. I hope the team does stick to it and doesn't make it too confusing. But some of the sprites could be improved imo. Like even the Knight doesn't look like his avatar in the "tutorial". His sprite is more like an amogus astronaut. It made me smile though. :^D Pets don't make much sense either. For some reason you buy them every run, not once and forever. And you can't see pet's ability, clicking on them BUYS THEM INSTANTLY. It really screwed up my savings because I wanted to see the abilities pets had, and instead accidentally bought three of them for nothing. I actually feel bad for leaving a negative review, but this game doesn't bring me any joy whatsoever. It has a small fanbase, judging by the high score section, which is good. And I really hope the game becomes better in the future. I think instead of multiplayer and rating system the game could focus more of basic functions, like menu and UI, and the things I have listed above. I really hope it improves with time<3 Peace.
