We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

This title delivers action-packed gameplay, fast-paced combat, and a visually striking fantasy world. These core elements are strong enough to keep you engaged, and for a price of just six euros, the experience offers solid entertainment value. However, despite these promising foundations, the execution struggles in several key areas. While the worldbuilding and central concept are genuinely impressive, the narrative quickly loses momentum. Much of the story becomes overly focused on the protagonist’s induction into the Immortals, rather than exploring the broader lore and potential of the setting. The game hints at a rich universe but never fully capitalizes on it. Character development is also notably thin. Aside from the main character and their immediate companions, most supporting characters feel flat and unremarkable. In a universe where you can fire magical beams from your hands, there’s little sense of wonder among the cast. The Immortals should evoke something closer to the grandeur of Asgard—not the energy of an office break room. Certain abilities, such as the time-slow spell, come across as uninspired, and several minigame-style mechanics (like animating or slowing objects) interrupt the game’s momentum rather than enhancing it. Players who prefer a constant, high-tempo experience may find these segments particularly disruptive. On a positive note, the game’s linear structure and light RPG elements are refreshing. Instead of overwhelming you with side activities and filler content, it maintains a clear focus on its narrative—something increasingly rare in modern releases. Final Verdict: A beautifully crafted fantasy world and enjoyable fast-paced combat help carry the experience, but the game suffers from a half-realized story and underdeveloped characters. The protagonist works well, the visuals are excellent, and the potential is undeniable—yet much of it feels only partially realized. I really believe that the studio is proud of what they made and would love to see a sequel.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 30: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It plays like DOOM but with magic. All around pretty fun.
It's a pretty cool single player game (of the kind we need more of - not more multiplayer games). Visuals are amazing, and the player dialogue is wonderfully sassy. Edit: I've basically finished the game (just got the 4 shatterfanes to do before considering new game+), and wow, what a thoroughly enjoyable journey Immortals of Aveum took me on! I am so glad I a) downloaded the free demo, and b) got this on a Steam sale. I sincerely do wish/hope to see more of Aveum from the developers, despite knowing that they got the short straw from EA and have had to lay off much of their staff. To the devs, I say thank you for making this game world and that your efforts are appreciated - even if it's a few years late.
This is potentially a great game. But it is deeply frustrating for a mouse and keyboard player as the relevant movement doesn't stop when you lift your finger off the key. So running and jumping (which you do quite a lot) is a bit of a lottery. You can execute one manoeuvre only to find that the previous one still has a couple of seconds to run before it happens. Maybe it works fine with a controller - but I only play with keyboard and mouse.
It's not what I expected to play, why the magical battle looks like FPS with only 3 different weapons? It supports controller but no aim lock, no aim-enhancement, and moves like the shooter inside Battle Fields, then why I don't play Battle Fields instead of this game? At least there are weapons more than just 3 different categories, OK? Luckily I played this with EA Play, that's a relief...
The graphics are neat and crispy, the story and mechanics are full of functional troupes in a well executed frame, the combat is fun and different talents and equipment offers quite a wholesome experience. I got it from a sale expecting nothing and know I understand the beauty of this kind of first person shooters with rpg elements.
In many ways, this is a magic-doom, with a limited set of spells that act as weapons and a focus on movement and countering certain enemy types. The combat is enjoyable throughout, very much leaning into the turn your brain off and blast at enemies while the puzzles (both platforming, timing, and refract) are also pretty enjoyable. The maps are decently large with a good amount of room for exploration and the progressive unlock of abilities throughout the main story unlocks new areas, traversal options, and puzzles to solve, giving a pretty good reason to revisit maps after major story elements. The story itself is decent, filled with pretty visuals but has some rough pacing issues. The characters waver between being well-written and dramatic to almost marvel-quippy but in a way that feels fairly realistic to their personalities. Overall, I would not pay full price for this but absolutely recommend it on sale.
