About

For centuries, the Church has ruled humanity in the name of defense from the thousand-eyed snake living within the bowels of the world. As its Immortal Hunters held the line against the nightmarish Khemrids, servants of the snake god, humanity was rallied in service of the Holy War. All the Cardinals asked for in return was obedience.
As the War raged, heretics and blasphemers were sent to the dungeons, ancient scriptures at odds with Church dogma were burnt to cinders, while the most faithful were also burned. As they were martyred by the Church, their bodies fueled the Holy Fire, the only thing the Khemrids feared, apart from the Church's holy warriors.
All they managed was delaying the inevitable. As the Khemrids launch their final invasion, the Apocalypse unfolds. Among the ruins of the capital city, you take control of one of four surviving Hunters, using their unique abilities to fight your way across the burning urban landscape, experiencing a story full of unpredictable turns of events that may yet see the world saved!

As the Church and the Khemrid invasion collide, the Hunters are stuck in between with unlikely heroes, brazen heretics, lying Cardinals, and everyone else stuck in the city. As it burns, experience the End Times from four different perspectives. The clash of the titans sets in motion a hundred other battles: Ambition and lust for power tear the Church apart, a brave heretic stands up to the corruption, and the truth struggles to be heard after centuries of oppression.

Ultimately, it will be you, as one of the Immortal Hunters, who will define the fate of the world. Battle the Khemrid hordes, make difficult choices, unearth long forgotten lore, discover ancient secrets suppressed by the Cardinals, and maybe you'll have a chance of averting the Apocalypse. Are you up to the challenge?

It has some really cool ideas, nice artwork, good combat concepts, passable voice acting and music, online co op, and a good amount of content(Seems like). So why not recommend? It's janky. Despite being released with a 1.0 version, it just doesn't feel very smooth to play at all. Everything just feels off. I think if the devs truly focus on making the game *FEEL* good to play, it could be a very fun and great co op beat em up rpg. But as of right now, the jank just makes the entire experience play awful, and therefor it's just not worth it yet. Which is a shame because I think the work put in so far, and the art is really great. The game has potential, it's nearly there. Please devs, focus on fixing the way the game feels to move and fight. Everything else seems decent, but the moment to moment gameplay needs a lot of work.
Do not buy. "Why?" you would ask. The sh*tty co-op. First of all, this game could have been a perfect couch co-op; however, they want to sell one copy per player - I get it. After more than an hour playing the excessive tutorial, finally I get the option to invite friends to my game. The story progression isn't shared... Ok, it could happen. That isn't even the worst. When we finished a mission, we were separated and sent to our respective lobby. Then I had to send the invitation again. Dude, don't make me invite my friend every f*cking time. It's exasperating. The game has other cons. And pros, of course. But I bought (and gifted) it because of the co-op. Please, fix that. I want to like the game.
Don't be fooled by the artwork. This game is bad. The hits have no impact. Its like a bunch of flash animations overlapping each other with no real interaction. I chose to skip the backstory, but I was forced through a bunch of poorly written dialog anyway. Each fight lasts maybe a few minutes, but you then have to sit through a summary screen after each fight so you can see your stats which mean nothing really. There are bugs too. The menu screen doesn't really respond to gamepad input correctly and it feels like a beat-em-up like this should be focused on controller support. I get that this was made by a small team, but regardless this game is full of jank and there are so many other better games to play. Stay away from this one.
I'm sorry but this game is terrible. The combat relays nothing back to the player, there's no sense of connectivity that makes the player feel any weight in attacks. There's only 3 display options and none of them are graphical related so can't change anything, you don't even get a v-sync toggle so it was tearing when I plugged my ally x into tv even with 60hz set on the console. I tried quitting the game but even the exit option wasn't working after repeated attempts so I had to force close. Overall I didn't get far as it was very clear form 10 minutes playing the lack of basic features and abysmal combat feeling was enough for me to stop playing. I only paid £2.50 for a key and even thats too much for this game.
I don't think I've ever been this disappointed in a title. The art is really cool, I love the comic panel cut-scenes, so I thought "hey it's a beat em up, it'll be good enough at half price no matter what." Wow, was I wrong there. The gameplay is so static, the controls so awkward. There's no flow to your movement, hell I struggle to jump when I want to, so I just stand and hit trigger over and over until the swarming enemy dies or I do. There was no instruction at all about what my 'skills' (button-mapped moves) do, no hover tooltips. I skipped the dialogue entirely because it's uninteresting, the VA is of varying quality both technically and artistically. The sound, man, I had to turn it all down it was so terribly loud. The dev responsible for gameplay needs to play some Streets of Rage to see what how it's done. Really disappointing, even on sale.
Voto : ★★★☆☆ 🎮 – Immortal Hunters - If you were looking for the new Hades, well… you found the cousin a little’ clumsy. Immortal Hunters is that game that makes you say: “Okay, it's not bad… but maybe it's not worth the full price of admission”. ⚔️ Gameplay Fast-paced combat, hordes of enemies, and an RPG system that makes you feel powerful… at least until you realize you're repeating the same combo dance for the hundredth time. It's fun, but only if you love the infinite loop “attack-dodge-power-repeat”. 🎨 Graphics The style is reminiscent of Hades, but with less elegance and more “wanting to be there”. Nice to look at, but it won't make you rush to print posters for the nursery. 🕹️ Dynamics Roguelike + beat ’em up = interesting wedding… too bad it sometimes feels like an impromptu ceremony. Not everyone will appreciate the repetitiveness and dancing balance. 💸 Price Here comes the sore point: at full price it's like paying for a VIP ticket to a concert and finding out the cover band is playing. But if you catch it at a steep discount, it becomes a bargain: a pleasant, ironic pastime with enough substance to justify a few nights of digital beatings. ⚖️ Final judgment A game that can only appeal to those who love frenetic chaos and are not scared by repetitiveness. It's not worth the full price, but if you find it on sale it becomes a recommended purchase. Vote: ★★★☆☆
