IL-2 is great for WW2 focused with big battles and a very cool quick start. A nice contrast to DCS. There are some very cool WW2 Warbirds to fly. The Ta-152 H1 is a beast, just like the Me262.
Très bon jeu de Simulation aérienne
This game has incredibly realistic graphics, many options which you can choose from and can be played with a mouse and, if you own, even a joystick!
Swietna gra, zwłaszcza na VR. Mam nadzieję, że w przyszłości doczekamy się map w Afryce i kolejnych maszyn :)
this game is amazin with WW2 aircraft highly detailed. and awesome graphics for a game of this age its still platnum in my books. good Campaing and missions. I sure hope they come out with a new ww 1 and 2 dogfight simulator soon!
Great game. Very fun.
Horrible! You will spent all your time trying to bind the keys instead of playing the games!
HOTAS doesn't work on the game. My playtime is just me searching for a fix.
I played a lot of WT sim before buying this game, I have also tried DCS for Jet warfare and found it to be way too complicated. IL2 great battles is the perfect middle ground, being just complicated enough to be interesting while not drowning you with info like DCS. The community is funny and hosts fun events, the flight mechanics and engine management are great and interesting and focus on only the most critical systems to manage, which can be turned off for new players. The flight physics are my fav of any modern combat flight sim (WT & DCS). and the Devs are still updating it to this day while keeping the community in the loop with road maps. And the plane destruction is better than anything on the market... if you have a flight stick and nerd like wonder for aviation, history and, air combat, buy this game, just so addictive. Super excited for Korea.
Ive spent the majority of my 14 hours of playtime so far just learning how to take off and land. i wish this game had an arcade sort of mode where you can play it similarly to the console versions of the series. But that would also take too much away from the charm of this version. This simulator is excellent to play because its a window into the past, and allows you to experience flying warbirds like the pilots did back in the war, without the part where you die if you get shot down or crash hehe i recommend it for enthusiasts and those who enjoy aviation and all the breakthroughs needed to turn it into a theater of war
