Если вам интересны виртуальные полеты времен ВОВ, то эта игра вам подходит.
Very strange experience, frankly speaking. Somehow they made a game that worse than old Il-2 Forgotten Battles in all aspects despite graphics. AI is awful, no tactical formations, no radio, even no proper queue on landing. Flying the plane is ok, but general impression and immersion is around a ground level. No training missions, no manuals as well
For the people who know they need specifically and exactly what this game is; a serious and also modern-(with a big ish) WWII combat flight simulator, there's basically no alternatives, and in such a case, you are out of luck and gotta play it, I guess. To anyone else, who's not already stuck with that hobby with exclusively bad options, avoid. I've owned this game since its first (Stalingrad) iteration came out. I've also owned "Flying Circus" in its first iteration, but the developer apparently ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me out of having any form of surviving license that'd allow me to play that content anymore. I've been coming back to it, every couple years (previously, on non-Steam, so most of my playtime is untracked), with improving hardware and more adult patience, and I'm sad to report it's only become less appealing over the time. The performance is the only thing that got better, but honestly, mainly because of how incredibly atrocious it used to be. Now it's just fine. Not amazing, but fine, including in VR, with Valve Index, Outside of that though; extremely barebones gameplay that somehow manages to feel worse than good ol' IL-2 1946, extremely cutthroat, in-your-face monetization that the developer keeps trying to justify through the reality of how expensive it is to develop and unpopular it is to play (there's more people playing War Thunder "sim" than this and DCS combined, and I personally think WT is a horrible game, yet somehow, it can welcome players for free....). The whole thing is presented as first and foremost superbly authentic and well historically researched, but if that's what you're after, you might as well just play an actually good game while listening to some history youtuber in the background. Or read a book. Or hit yourself in the face repeatedly with an authentic vintage field shovel - that's still gonna be fun more reliably than this game.
Not really interested in the WW2 theme. I came from Rise Of Flight, their servers are mostly dead. If you have the money I would totally get the first Flying Circus pack (especially if they're on sale) if you're tired of the dead Rise Of Flight servers. Their planes are similar models but they're new and updated. Just the WW1 content itself alone is a 8/10 for me, I enjoy it.
Mixed review. The game is worth it...but only On Sale... I have thousands of hours on Il-2 Forgotten Battle/1946. So much fun. Just bought and noticed a few things. This is basically the same game. Upgraded somewhat. The good: -It runs smoothly on my R-7, RTX2080S, 48gbRam machine from the HDD. But it feels like it slows down sometimes despite 50fps+ being displayed. -Many elements have had visual improvements. The aircraft looks fantastic. Some basic rain effects added. The clouds a little better. -Overall gameplay is about the same as 1946 with all the quirks. (Too be honest I haven't tried the advanced mode yet) The bad: -The pricing model with all the DLC is a bit 'ambitious' to say the least. Especially for what you get. -The flight model still needs major work: a). Nose down, full throttle, and I don't accelerate. b). Roll right, full left rudder, nose up, cut throttle and I'm still doing 300mph for a while. -AI voices are missing a huge potential for immersion.. IE: "Today's flight is patrol. Enemy might be coming from X airfield to the east. We are covering 5th Battalion at the city of X" "#3 you are far out of formation, return when able" "Tighten up a bit more on my right" "Climbing to angels 7" "Second group is now in engagement past AO" "Four fighters above" "Pulling right and diving" "Ok sir you are rearmed and ready for takeoff" -The grass airfields are still perfectly square. Ground crew and airfield elements still basic. -The terrain looks plain and patchwork dull. Trees are all the same. Missing caravans of refugees carts and horses. Historic buildings or rivers that stick out and serve as visual markers. etc. -The moving map cant be zoomed. And there are two of them. Neither are helpful. Why not a 'paper' map with general area and direction circled?
Updating my review. The devs responded to my last review, told me i was a liar for saying the flight time in the game was far too long to do anything at all (40 minutes to not see an enemy and 40 minutes back) yet in their newest game, what did they do? Have you skip the described flight time by just teleporting you there after take-off. Yeah I was so wrong your new game has a fix for this. Every single time i try to sit down and just enjoy this game, some aspect of it ruins it instantly. This is somehow the best WORST flight sim I have ever played. Honestly even knowing they have addressed this in the new game, it has left such a bad taste in my mouth I refuse to buy it.
It's good. Now I have autism.
Игра хорошая, но требовательная А так советую поиграть. 7/10 Так как без DLC не поиграть нормально.
