Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I originally went into the game thinking the story might not resonate with me personally. I am usually not even a fan of visual novels as I do find the medium of video games better utilized with other genres. But If found did present the story in a way that it did not feel boring. The amount of characters is limited and easy to follow along. The story's emotional moments do hit and you get a good grip of the characters feelings without the story spelling everything out for you. Now as a game If found is lightly put obnoxious. I found my wrist getting tired after just after a while of doing "erasing." I get the point, but it just does not work. I do understand why it is there story wise, but gamplay wise it is just not a good mechanic, since erasing is done layer by layer and no matter how you erase it does not change anything. Luckily they have a full erase button to save your arm from the workout, but I still have to recognize that the sole mechanic is a nothing burger. While that out of the way, the game is a visual novel so I am not expecting to be blown away by the mechanics, the story is still emotional and charming. Unfortunately I did not find the "side plot" to be my kind of thing. It's somewhat of a make sense of it for yourself kind of storyline, and for me, it did not make sense to me. Or maybe it was literally what was happening... anyways it did not get too in the way. I still do recommend the game for anybody interested in the topic, which is very important for many people.

I liked this game it was really interesting
I find it difficult to talk at length about games of this sort, feeling far too personal and heartfelt a thing for me to do something so crass as to "review" it. Suffice it to say, If Found... is a game about being lost and eventually finding your way. It's a story as old as time, one that embraces the "freaks," giving them warmth in the winter months. I guess that's what I come away from the game with, this sensation of pure warmth. It just feels like a long hug with someone after a lifetime of being all alone. I cannot say I precisely relate to the feelings on display, but I found them sympathetic and moving, certainly helped by the honest, true-to-life writing that felt less so like fiction and more so like someone lifting real events from life and putting them to screen, or in this case a sort of digital paper. I appreciate the main gimmick of progressing the story, this idea of erasing memories as you progress further and further, getting closer to "The Event," until afterwards you begin to write anew. With that change, you get this lovely sensation of moving on toward something new, something better. I also loved the decision to end the bulk of the game on designing Kasio and how she looks. To me, this felt like a beautiful way to cap off the game (even if you get some lovely post-game stuff to fill out the future of these characters a bit, a sort of "where are they now" epilogue). It's heartwarming to find more and more LGBT-forward stories of this ilk and especially to find them both specific and universal. There is no need to relate to what you find here as the story is moving all the same, its visuals inspiring and enchanting. But, for those of you who do find kindred spirits in this game, I can only imagine how lovely If Found... must be. In this digital age, despite all its shortcomings, it becomes easier and easier to find people like you, to find others that share your struggles and share your loves. I hope, then, that in this game someone finds a shared soul. Even if I don't share it myself, I can see it clear on display.
An incredibly emotional journey with gorgeous visuals, a beautiful soundtrack, and a unique twist on the visual novel format.
While I initially thought the act of erasing things to progress was just a gimmick, it eventually cleverly ties in with the story. Above all, it features an extremely authentic representation of the queer experience that is rare to come by. This is definitely a visual novel that I'll be recommending to all my friends even if they aren't queer or aren't the type to play this sort of game, because I believe that the way the story is presented can be understood, felt, and related to by anyone willing to give it the space to say what it needs to say. Story spoilers:
I went into this game not knowing that it was a trans story, which I felt made the revelation hit much harder for me, and therefore I'm leaving that part out of this review 🏳️⚧️ As mentioned, good queer representation is already hard to come by, let alone good trans representation, but this game nailed it perfectly for me.
"Family isn't only the one you're born into. And you feel like more of a sister than any of my actual sisters. Don't forget that."
