In Idle Weaponshop, you are handed your very own weapon shop to manage. Design and sell weapons, build up your local community, hire employees, and send adventurers off into danger for fun and profit... all before prestiging to earn powerful bonuses, all so you can do it all over again.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. Copies below reflect the player base, not paid sales.

After trying this one out for a few hours and then reading some of the negative reviews, I'm actually surprised by some of the things that they didn't like about this game. Maybe it's been patched since then or something, but I either didn't encounter the same issues they did (bugs, inability to progress) or I simply disagree with the reasons given. (Cliche materials and theme? So what, should we make weapons out of cheese instead? And it auto-sells the items you craft? Big deal, that's the whole point and it also auto-equips your adventurers with the best items you've crafted.) I've played a lot of idle games and I think this one is better than most. At least so far. It's a little on the grindy side (but there is offline progress), and some things about the UI are not very intuitive which can make it easy to overlook certain features and upgrades. But aside from that I think this game deserves better than "Mixed". So if you're on the fence about giving this some of your time, I say don't let the "Mixed" rating turn you away. Try it out for yourself!

I looked past the negative reviews and played the game, but then I hit the first prestige and learned that the upgrades don't apply for some reason until your second prestige (so you have to go through the same exact gameplay a second time without any prestige boosts) and I gave up
Its a pretty buggy mess despite having some promise. I had to exploit bugs to make any progress, so this gets a no from me. Still, I played it for a night to perfect game it considering there aren't many achievements, which is a major flaw for an incremental game IMO.
Unfinished and quite boring game. You have very little to do and do it over and over and over again! Just don't bother it ain't worth losing you time over it. Go watch paint dry it's more exciting!
"Idle Weaponshop" is a garbage tier abandoned Early Access clicker/idler. This clicker is only differentiated from the others because it has a lazy "weapon making" skin slapped on it. What do you do in the game? Make the numbers go up so you can buy stuff to make the numbers go up so you can buy stuff to make the numbers go up so you can buy stuff to make the numbers go up. The developers abandoned this 1 year ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. The graphics here are particularly awful, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
Try again in a year or two. The state it's in currently is essentially unplayable, and you won't enjoy the time you spend on it. The bones are good though, so after some pretty heavy and thorough updates it'll probably be pretty fun.
it's a slow start and a decent middle and picks up a bit more at the end. The start is especially difficult to get past which is my main suggestion for improvement. The rest seems fairly solid albeit lacking detail and more fleshing out. my recommendation is on the direction not on the game in front of you. I've played a ton of idle games and when I find one that has a slightly different twist it's a treat and this one has been fun, I likely have many many more hours to drop onto this even-in/because-of the unfinished state of the game. again, the slog at the start should be addressed so more people can experience the game open up more in the middle and end
