An exploration type game that sees you as an investigator raking through an empty mining ship to try and work out what happened to the crew. It looks pretty nice and the atmosphere of the abandoned ship is palpable but that's about all the game gets right sadly. The puzzles are barely worthy of the name (find keycard in one room and put it in the keycard slot elsewhere) and are only made at all difficult by the darkness of certain sections of the game making pickups hard to find. It would still be, and sort of was, a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours if not for a load of amateur mistakes increasing the general frustration of the experience. To wit:

The voice acting of your companion AI is just a blatant text-to-speech transcript which sounds terrible. The other AI in the game is given a genuine human voice so this is an odd choice.
There are no save points at all so you need to either completely finish a chapter or you're starting it again. They're short enough once you work out what you need to do but if you miss something you can be hunting around for a while. Also, there are a couple of instant death sections so you end up genuinely scared of dying purely because it means redoing a load of stuff.
Any option changes (e.g. inverting Y) are thrown away whenever you die or start a new chapter which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. This is made worse by the fact that you can do everything in the game with a control pad except enter/leave the pause menu. Grrr.
The controls are never mentioned or explained. In the case of jump, use, etc that's not a massive problem but there's a run button hidden on one of the bumpers and some of the platformy bits absolutely required that to work. I spent no small amount of time repeatedly trying a jump because I could get really close so I thought it doable and just finicky. Only eventually did I stumble across the run button and then battered that whole section in my next attempt. There's even a Steam review with someone complaining about being stuck because they can't make a jump, which would be amusing if it wasn't so unnecessary.
Short game but with great atmosphere. Play at night withought lights to get the full "alone in the spaceship" vibe!

Do not buy this game until the bugs are fixed. # 1 is the worst bug. If Dev fixes these issues then I will delete my review and mark it positive. Cons: 1. Falling through the floor out of the level is happening all the time on the last level and took me 4 tries to finish it. 2. Hint Text sometimes doesn't go away. 3. Game menu you push up or down and it moves two keystrokes sometimes when it should move 1 movement. So you think you are moving it once and hit enter when you realize you just exited the level. 4. Then after bug 3 happens, or you have to exit out because you fell through the map into space, then you have to sit there and cant skip past the intro. Oh and after you beat the game it starts you over to the intro again which you cant exit out of. 5. Invert Mouse does not persist to next level or restarts of level if you die. 6. Selecting Mouse invert requires you to hit enter twice on it to flip it to on. Should be once. 7. Jump mechanics are messed up and doesnt work well. Pros: 1. Sounds are great in the game.
Apparently the developer was learning the engine as they developed the game, and it shows. Despite a good job at creating atmosphere early, the whole thing is extremely clunky & frustrating, inconsistent, and controls poorly. I did not bother finishing it; almost at the end of a chapter the game killed me with a trap that was already triggered (which in other cases does not kill you - speaking again to the inconsistency issue) and then expected me to replay the entire chapter over again. Not worth the time it would take to do that.
Follow "First Person Exploration and Puzzle Games" for more games like this!
A skeleton of a game which is low-quality in nearly every respect. The sound effects and ambiance are good, but everything else - from the story to the mapping to the UI to the voice-overs to the programming - is mediocre at best. I don't think I'd recommend this game for free. Look elsewhere.
neat little story, starts off quite odd. it has a few puzzles that can be beat with thorough searching and jumping.
there were a few things that were just very irratating that I dont currently recomend this game 1) there is multiple jumping segments in the game and your character jumps like 6 inches high so when you need to traverse areas you jump 6 inches and like magically slide up the rest of the way to the top of the box or whatever you are jumping onto 2) the lighting is pretty out of whack sometimes there are lights that other than the lightsource itself it gives off no light whatsoever to the surrounding area making a lot of this game in many places unneccessarily dark especially when the item that you need to progress is hidden in the dark places 3) the story doesn't explain itself satisfactorily (spoilers)
you read computer logs that has a man or woman discussing how plants are not growing well or something like that then in chapter 4 you randomly get a new guy that says the crew is all dying and he is trying to survive then later you get voices in your head saying that you should give the voices your A.I. and it turns out these voices are a sun like entity that you later find out is trying to fly the ship you are in into the sun and you must escape. many questions are not answered like where did the sun thing come from, why does it want your A.I. What happend to the crew/ what were they trying to grow or study, why does this ship have so many rediculous locks, why doesnt your charactor take the flippin keycard with him to easily get into every door instead of finding a new keycard for each door (if each door needs a specific keycard why the heck would a ship be designed that way because unless you all traveled in a group nobody could get around anywhere)
4) while this is a search and then use type of game for one part they actually made it a puzzle segment which is a completely different flow to what you are used to doing
they have a 3d printing machine and you are supposed to look around for a blueprint that shows the building code and then you punch in the correct code to make the 3d part which then you use the part to progress whereas the whole game except for this part is to either go flip a switch or find the part that you need to progress so you are searching forever for the thing that you actually need to go make
5) it has a collectable "loot" that does absolutly nothing but gives yay for you points 6) the movement is pretty wonky even after turning off smothing effects. most games you stop pressing forward and you stop moving forward this game you keep going a step or two. sprinting adds like 15% more speed but 50% more footstep sounds meaning you have some of the stubbiest legs ever not to mention that would actually explain the pathetic jumping 7) many of the access panels camoflouge into the surroundings and are not easy to pick out probably half or more of them I ended up running right past and had to backtrack to find them 8) the game is short to end on a few good notes however running on metal gives off a catchy boom-bud-a-but sound and atmosphere in the game is good
