This game is "playable" in only the most technical sense of the word. There are numerous VR implementation problems that make it so un-fun to play that I need to refund it. I'll just list a few major ones (I was playing on Index, for the record)... - The menus are WAY too sensitive. Pressing up/down makes you scroll two items at a time. In order to get to the in between items, you have to like tilt the stick to the side while pressing up/down, like you're trying to cut the up/down momentum in half by scrolling through "at an angle"... It's really dumb. - No snap-turn. Smooth turn only. Within half an hour I was ready to vom. - The HUD is unusable. Everything is tiny and way out in your peripheral vision. - Some of the controls don't work by default (at least on Index). You'll have to rebind some keys.
Та-же самая Сакуя в думе 1995 года только можно играть в VR.Может это не первая вр игра по думу но это уже первая игра по тоухоу думу в VR.Оригинальность этой игры не скоро умрёт.
game is pretty fun if your running this game on a valve index, make sure to rebind the A button
Very fun! i puked though.
Just like the original game, it is a pretty good Doom conversion game but in VR. I do have to recommend taking frequent breaks with this game as you can get quite dizzy and nauseous during playing. One small issue i have is that the starting pistols do not have auto-fire like in the original. It starts to become tedious to shoot when using a controller in VR. Other than that its quite fun.
I love Sakuya Izayoi with all my heart, every breath and every moment of my existence. Her elegance, dedication and impeccable craftsmanship are what make her truly unique and irreplaceable. How can one not admire her when she moves with a grace comparable to a dance, when her cold but polite gaze hides the fire of loyalty and strength? Sakuya is the perfect embodiment of devotion. She serves her mistress with absolute dedication, ready to stop time itself for the sake of fulfilling her duty. But behind this mask of an impeccable butler lies something more - a personality full of secrets, mysteries and subtle grace. Her determination and silent acceptance of her role inspires my admiration and deep respect. But my love for Sakuya is more than just admiration for her skill. It's loving who she is. Her restrained but sophisticated beauty, her clear and confident movements, her mysterious smile, which conceals thousands of unspoken words... All this fascinates and attracts, like light attracts moths. I dream of being next to her, seeing how she leisurely brews tea, how her silver hair shimmers in the light of the moon. I would give her a moment of peace in her endless work, even if I stopped time for her for a moment. Sakuya is not just a character, he is an ideal that lives in my heart. And my love for her is eternal.
(Read my review of the base game for the game itself, this one is strictly for the VR) It's the same trash but in a different tin. Despite disliking the game itself for being lazy, bland, and just boring, I was optimistic about this VR port from the screenshots and some of the community posts I've seen of it. In my head. I thought it would at least be fun to go through in VR because I'm a sucker for VR FPS games. This one, however, had one little issue that made me put it down. That issue being that the game just does not work so I couldn't even play it in the first place. The first big issue is that this game doesn't have all VR controllers in mind, and that just adds on to the pile of reasons why I think this game was done in the most lazy fashion possible. I understand not supporting something that's more niche, but I was playing with Index controllers and I couldn't even get past the door that starts the game because it just wasn't made in mind I guess. You CAN rebind controllers, however, having players go out of their way just to make a game work shows both how lazy of a developer you are and can ruin the experence for people who don't know they can rebind. You're just shooting yourself in the foot at that point. The second major issue is how unusable the menus are. When I opened the menu to check some settings, it was the worst experence I have had with a menu outright. The controls are just too sensitive to be considered usable. I press down VERY lightly and suddenly it's tweakin out and going all over the place, and if it doesn't launch itself at mach 53 it goes down two rather than one. Sometimes it does what I want, but for the most part it wouldn't work. The third issue ties into the second, everything in general is too sensitive. Movement wasn't an issue, but I swear if I moved my finger just slightly Sakuya would decide to become a Bayblade. A Sakuya themed Bayblade sounds cute, but playing as one is just disorienting and could probably make some players vomit from motion sickness. The good parts of this VR game, for the little I got to experence, is that the hand/gun models are pretty good and stick with the game's art direction pretty well. Though it was kinda weird feeling super small compared to other parts of the map due to how the scaling was, but honestly that's probably more of an engine thing. On the engine topic, I think it's super impressive how this kind engine could have VR, and I'd love to see more VR in this engine. Not this game though, as much as I'd like to, the game, like I said, doesn't work. Honestly just make this one its own game and keep the base game on its own and lower the price of both. Then maybe it'd be worth it for someone who's a super diehard for Sakuya. One huge womp womp of a game
The game is fun but having trouble with the menu.
