it doesn't have garfield in it. it does have animals though, and animals are a reference to garfield (he is an animal too)

mister calvin tucker i want go to you farm
Calvin Tucker's Farm Animal Racing is a deliberately silly, cartoon-styled kart racer developed by Team 6 Studios and published by Funbox Media Ltd that fully commits to absurd humor and low-stakes arcade racing. Rather than chasing the polish or mechanical depth of genre leaders, the game positions itself as a lighthearted novelty experience built around exaggerated personalities, chaotic tracks, and a tone that rarely takes itself seriously. From its title alone, it signals that players should expect a goofy ride driven more by jokes and spectacle than competitive racing mastery. The premise revolves around a cast of anthropomorphic farm animals who decide that life in the barnyard isn’t exciting enough and take to racing across wildly inappropriate locations. Each racer has an over-the-top persona, leaning into broad caricature and slapstick charm rather than nuanced characterization. While these personalities don’t meaningfully affect gameplay through stats or abilities, they do give the game a sense of identity and help frame each race as part of a tongue-in-cheek cartoon universe. The humor is unapologetically juvenile, drawing heavily on exaggerated “redneck” stereotypes and visual gags, which will strongly appeal to some players while inevitably turning others away. Gameplay is straightforward and immediately accessible. Races are simple to pick up, with basic acceleration, steering, and item usage that require little learning curve. The handling model is forgiving, making it easy for casual players or younger audiences to stay on the track, though it also means skilled players have limited room to express mastery. Items and track hazards inject chaos into races, often swinging outcomes in unpredictable ways. This randomness contributes to the game’s party-like atmosphere but also undermines any sense of strategic racing, as success often feels more dependent on luck than precision or planning. Track variety is one of the game’s more noticeable strengths. The twelve available courses span an eclectic range of themes, taking racers from rural farmland to medieval castles, icy tundras, desert ruins, pirate-infested waters, and even extraterrestrial landscapes complete with UFOs. These environments are visually loud and packed with gimmicks, sometimes to the point of clutter. While the constant novelty keeps races visually interesting, it can also make tracks feel busy and occasionally confusing, especially when hazards and scenery blend together during faster sections. Visually, the game embraces a bright, exaggerated cartoon aesthetic that suits its comedic ambitions. Character models and environments are colorful and expressive, but animations can feel stiff and rough around the edges. The presentation conveys enthusiasm more than technical finesse, and while it matches the game’s tone, it also highlights its budget limitations. Sound design follows a similar pattern, with energetic music and exaggerated effects that support the chaotic racing, though audio repetition can become noticeable during longer sessions. Content-wise, Calvin Tucker’s Farm Animal Racing is relatively limited. There is no online multiplayer, no deep progression system, and no meaningful customization beyond selecting characters and tracks. Once tournaments are completed and all tracks are unlocked, the game offers little incentive to keep playing beyond casual replay. This makes it best suited for short bursts rather than extended sessions, functioning more as a novelty racer than a long-term hobby. Community response reflects this narrow focus. Players who approach the game with appropriate expectations often enjoy its absurd tone, easy controls, and low-pressure racing. Others criticize it for shallow mechanics, inconsistent controls, and humor that wears thin over time. Technical roughness, including camera behavior and general lack of polish, further reinforces the idea that this is a niche indie title rather than a refined genre entry. Ultimately, Calvin Tucker’s Farm Animal Racing succeeds only if judged on its own terms. It is not a serious kart racer, nor does it aspire to be. Instead, it offers a goofy, chaotic experience meant to generate laughs and brief amusement rather than competitive depth or mechanical elegance. For players who enjoy offbeat indie games, cartoon absurdity, and uncomplicated arcade racing, it can be an amusing diversion. For those seeking precision, balance, or lasting progression, it will likely feel shallow. As a novelty racer built on humor and spectacle, it delivers exactly what it promises—nothing more, nothing less. Rating: 7/10
Calvin Tucker's Farm Animal Racing is a 14 year old abandonware Nintendo Wii shovelware kart racing game (basically a cheap nasty ripoff of Mario Kart) that's been dug out of the trashpile and dumped onto Steam as a cash grab. This is a basic farmyard themed kart racer aimed at kids with poor controls, bad graphics and mediocre tracks and gameplay... there's nothing here of any value to PC gamers. Just a nasty abandonware cash grab. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the mid 2000s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. To make matters worse, there's no mouse input, despite this being sold on PC as if it were a PC game. This is unacceptable and somewhat insulting to PC gamers. It's a good demonstration of the poor attitude the developer has towards PC gamers, and this attitude has resulted in yet another defect in this game. Because this is designed for consoles, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the inferior console gaming appliances that the game was designed for. These are unfortunate compromises and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was a second thought for the console-centric developers. The game is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for consoles forces upon a game. Once more, console peasants have made gaming worse for everyone. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Calvin Tucker's Farm Animal Racing is relatively cheap at $3 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 9,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
