Hypnagogia 無限の夢 Boundless Dreams

Not going to lie, I was actually a little unsure if I would enjoy this game as from first glance it looked a little absurd and too left-field to me, but having been impressed with sodaraptor's work on Interior Worlds, I decided to give it a try and........I found myself later playing for 2 hours in without realizing how much time passed. The absolute artistry of the dreamlike landscapes is captivating and pure eye candy, especially being accompanied by an absolute banger of a soundtrack. Being immersed in the environments is the game's absolute strong suite, but in terms of interactivity and pure gameplay, not as much, but definitely nowhere being terrible. The game feels mostly like a walking simulator/platformer which is alright, but I did wish there was some ample interactivity with the environment besides talking with the NPCs. There was one bonus level that had some great interactive puzzles (and was pretty fun actually!), but I do wish there were more commonplace throughout the game as more hands-on interactivity would absolutely add to game's already immersive experience with its visually stunning environment designs. But overall, this game is absolute work of an art and would highly recommend it :D
