This game really does have a lot of parallels to Wildfrost and I find myself laughing occasionally when my old strategies start to match up here. On one hand, I feel a bit like I'm repaying for a game I already poured hours into years ago. On the other, it's like stepping into an old favorite with enough unique mechanics and its own style to make everything feel fresh again. I wouldn't mind a more fleshed out UI, but overall I'm having fun and I'm looking forward to completing the game.
Very good
Don't let the garish visuals fool you - this game slaps. The gameplay is similar to Wildfrost and the style reminds me of The Culture books. Would recommend.
This game is loud, brash, expressive, and absolutely chock-full of mechanical depth you can sink your teeth into. I'm still finding not only new cards and effects, but whole new mechanics, and I'm excited to keep discovering more. If you dig the style, it's well worth trying.
Very, very fun. Good balance with maybe just a few nitpicks here and there, lots of fun effects and combos to work around with, all of the status effects having both buff and debuff counterparts is a novel concept that is executed very well. The soundtrack fits so well you wouldn't think it's all cherrypicked royalty-free songs. The setting is very fun to get little tidbits of, makes me want to learn more about it.
GOOD
good
In space, nobody can hear you redraw.
Oh boy, the graphics might turn you off but this is a solid card based tactics game, lots of options to dig into, interesting combat. It does expect you to learn as you go, the first few runs will probably be harsh and end early, but it's worth digging deeper.
