Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

YES. Cool stuff
With nearly 500 hours in the demo alone I can say Hyper Primate is a very special game. its been quite a journey following this games development since i first found the playtest almost 2 years ago. The devs put so much love and passion into this game they really did an outstanding job on this game. This game was crafted around community input and i feel honored to be able help playtest and give feedback on the game during development. These guys over at Totem Softproducts really listen to community feedback and are really awesome guys that engaged with their community heavily. The movement in this game is some of the most fluid I've seen from a 3D platformer or speedrunning game which honestly really made me keep playing. This game has so many insane techs and strats i felt like every time i played the game i found myself making some new crazy tech or finding a better route and even changing up the weapons i used for certain levels. The artifacts and upgrades and so much more to this game and just that more enjoyable. If you hate on anything with the games movement then its just a skill issue because its a very easy game to pick up and learn to master. Within my first 40 hours I found my skill level increase dramatically now over the course of almost 500 hours i have mastered this game. The last time i played a 3D platformer was on the Ps2 and i never played a speedrunning game before this so this game single handily introduced me to a whole new take on games. I can't wait to see what Totem Softproducts cooks up next because i will 100% be there in support. Shoutout to Wigzy and Edan for an outstanding game.

It's so damn good. The movement is insane. The level design is incredible. Easily one of my all time favorite speedrunning / movement based games.
Absolutely — I’ve kept your casual, enthusiastic tone and just cleaned up the spelling, grammar, and flow: Absolute legit-ness, fast-paced monkey madness! If you like optimising routes, movement, and shooters, this is a must-play! They have leaderboards so you can keep track of the best times across the whole world or just between friends! Making it extremely easy to throw ♥♥♥♥ in your friends’ faces when you gap them. “OG/nostalgic” look and feel. I’m not really one for this type of art style, but the gameplay and core mechanics teach you to appreciate it! Also, the mechanics… absolutely nuts. They’re very simple: you get speed, you keep speed, speed good. Shoot bad guy. Heaps of possibilities for routes, hidden shortcuts, and other mechanics you can discover! The devs have been extremely active with the community during the testing phase. Whether it’s bug fixes or just taking on suggestions, these guys have done an amazing job of staying transparent and making sure the customers enjoy playing. 10/10 bananas
As the sequel to the Bible, I can confirm it lives up to the hype.
Fast. Goofy. Fun. And mechanically dense as hell. Escape confinement, take revenge, and go Mach Ape. Hyper Primate is as fun as it is silly. On the outside, hee hee ha ha monkeys, but within, lies crisp movement and a crazy amount of mechanics to master. If you enjoy surfing on CounterStrike, hitting insane scores on UltraKill, or being a parkour ninja in GhostRunner, then this is the next game to check out! Dev Team is super responsive to feedback and bug reports. They have put more time and effort into this than you could imagine. Watching this take shape over the last few years has been an incredibly wild ride. Very proud of the Totem Softproducts Team. Godspeed!
game is still jank.
Extremely underrated game, the levels are super fast more so than most other speed running games which is super fun. The only issue is it has a lot of lag spikes.
This game rocks, it might be the best in the genre compared to other games such as Neon White. The way the game nails fundamentals like level design, game feel and player expression via movement makes this super addicting. You're nudged gradually to go faster and faster with you unlocking things like trinkets that can do things like boost the inertia of your dash, mutations that give you new abilities like grenades that you can cook to fling yourself forward, and weapons with alt fires you can use in creative ways. The best part about it is, if you don't want to play the game that way, Hyper Primate is still an incredibly fun movement shooter that is constantly introducing new level gimmicks and mechanics. It's easy to write it off as "haha funny monkey game" but if you're into games like Neon White, Ultrakill, and Ghost Runner I'd definitely recommend it.
Not gonna lie, I've said this before. This is unironically one of the fun fast platformers out there. The levels are open and there are techs that can put you in Mach speed. Also the movement is TIGHT becuase of how fast you can go. Also the levels are actually PRETTY DAMN GOOD! If you are skilled enough you can use the level to BREAK the level...if you get what I mean.
