really wanted the game to succeed but they abandoned the game

I love the combat and the basis. I think storage should be added back to give players the ability to personalize their playstyle with friends if they want to. Also doesn’t feel like an extraction game if there’s nothing to collect or keep. Continue to improve the lore and the backstory to each crown. It will help make sense as to why we continue to go out to the overgrowth. More secret scrolls found in the pill bottles etc that deepen the story. Without these two factors the game will lose its interest quickly.

Bought it with the hope it'd turn into something better with time. I did have fun with the original build, but... well. The game is "dead" from a continued development standpoint, and the state of the game as it is, is what it always will be. And very sadly... it's not worth buying.

Nothing really like hyper light dirfter. i understand its early access but i wouldnt recommend buying it, sadly. gameplay is just generic yet over complicated. No real direction or story. This has about as much to do with HLD as apex had to do with titanfall lol

The game is still in very early access, but it is, so far, a very worthy sequel to Hyper Light Drifter. Seeing the amazingly unique world of the Hyper Light franchise beautifully rendered in 3D is a cherry on top of the exciting, smooth, and incredibly fun gameplay. There are kinks to smooth out and elements to be finished, but what is here so far is highly enjoyable, especially for fans of HLD, Roguelikes, and 3D action adventure games.
