In the mayhem-filled streets of the future where criminal gangs rule and cops fear to tread, only the bounty hunters can free the city from the corrupt fist of felony. Lay waste to the criminal underworld and make a killing in this hard boiled action comedy arcade shooter.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Jul 21 → 1.8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Gorgeous pixel art, very good controls and reaction speed. High replayability value. Delivers exactly what it promises from the demo/screenshots.
Masterclass in game design and presentation. 10/10
Huntdown is a pure gem and a great homage to badass sci-fi and action movies. Everything feels right, and the more you play, the better it gets. Story Mode and Arcade Mode are different enough to refresh the way you approach the game without changing what makes it great. I also don't think every game should be rated against everything else. A game should mostly be judged against others of its kind. And Huntdown is a solid 10/10, not something you can skip.

Phenomenal, 10/10 in all areas and an absolute alpha throwback to the 2d platformer run&gun roots of any Gen X childhood. Structurally, it's well balanced, lots of guns and weapons, and different ways to interact with the environment in an Elevator Action/Contra/Metal Slug kind of way, minus vehicles of any kind, but you don't need the distraction. It's real heavy on boss fights, but they're so well executed with patterns for you to discover, that even if you have a few rage-inducing encounters you will inevitably figure it out after taking a break and coming back at it. Nothing is unreasonably hard, and yet I won't say it's easy either, even to the protesting of my own ego. You got 3 choices of a character, I only tried two, but the only real difference was their projectile ability, there might be something else but I didnt really explore it. What's important there is the potency of level design, immense creativity using countless 80s tropes, expressions you will undoubtedly remember from 80's action cinema if you're old enough, but even placing that aside, the game is gorgeous, smooth, feels amazing. It's easy to take for granted the fact that we live in a truly great time for 2d scrollers and the fact that we have limitless power to make them amazing, mechanically deep and loaded with depth. Things we couldn't have done so well 30+ years ago, and at the rate we're going, they're pumping out works of art left and right from all manner of indi-developers. If you want to start with something incredible, start with this one....
Good gameplay. Fair difficulty. Cool visuals. Nice game all around.
прикольная игра по типу контры на 8 битке

[th]WHEN[/th] There is a bounty to collect and hordes of goons to hunt down

[th]WHERE[/th] A gritty futuristic city dominated by very specifically themed gangs with an 80’s grunge meets cyberpunk aesthetic

[th]WHO ARE YOU[/th] One of three legendary bounty hunters, each as lethal as the next. Anna Conda, an ex-commando with annihilation in mind. John Sawyer, a jaded special forces cop constructed of as much robotics as flesh. Mow Man, a machine made to kill and stripped of any protocols to inhibit this urge.

[th]WHAT DO YOU DO[/th] You’re a lone gun versus unimaginable hordes of the city’s worst for nothing more than a paycheck. Hurl led at the Hoodlum Dolls, mangle the Misconducts, hassle the Heartbreakers, and slay the No.1 suspects. Each gang, heinous in their own ways, will meet the same fate, an extrajudicial end. Use your environment and tools of the trade to do what the law could not.

[th]WHY IT'S WORTH PLAYING[/th] Retro arcade vibes packed with character, challenge, and variety. The scope stays simple and you’ve seen the setup before, but execution is everything and these bounty hunters don’t miss. Great vibes and commitment to the theme pay off, same as the bounties.
