HROT is a single-player retro FPS set in a small socialist country neighboring Soviet Union (Czechoslovakia) after an unspecified disaster in 1986. Those times were dark and terrifying and so is the game.

This is a great FPS in the vein of Doom but with a challenging and rewarding difficult spike. It has that gritty 80s Com block vibes and feels great. Highly recommend.
You will like this game if you like: Quake, Doom, Dusk, Blood, Duke Nukem....etc. You get it. This game is solid as hell and has high quality Boomer Shooter DNA to its core. Get it!
HROT is like playing a forgotten Quake game from an alternate timeline where the Soviet era never ended. The atmosphere is incredible, with its gloomy Czechoslovak setting, weird humor, and oppressive industrial environments giving the game a really unique identity. The shooting feels great, the levels are fun to explore, and finding secrets is always rewarding. It may look a bit too brown and repetitive at times, but that only adds to its strange charm. A very solid retro FPS and a must-play if you enjoy old-school shooters with a strong personality.
the handheld game is peak im afraid
3rd episode is frustrating but the 2nd one is peak
