About
After things don’t quite work out in the big city, you return to your small hometown. Once lively, it now feels a little faded and forgotten. In that stillness, you discover something unexpected: a new passion. Room by room, space by space, you clean, paint, and gently restore the sense of community that once filled these streets.
Hozy is about slowing down. There are no timers, scores, penalties, and absolutely no stress or pressure. Just you, your tools, and the simple joy of making spaces beautiful again. Whether you're wiping windows, repainting walls, or finding the perfect spot for a sofa, everything is designed to keep you in a calm, satisfying flow.
Wrap yourself in a cozy atmosphere where every small action and detail matters. Open a window to let the wind play with floating dust and bring nature's sounds closer. Light candles, arrange books on shelves, paint a portrait on the wall, or switch on a projector. Everything you touch and every choice you make delivers a sense of satisfaction and a gentle “aha!” moment.
Hozy features nine unique locations to explore and restore. Each space is filled with its residents' personal stories, as well as unique objects and small details that make every room feel lived in. Begin your journey in your parents’ home, step into an artist’s workshop, then visit an old café full of memories. Explore dreamlike spaces and help fulfil your father’s long-held dream of a peaceful place by the sea.
Skip the endless catalogue overwhelm. Hozy offers a carefully curated selection of furniture and décor for each level that work well together. Place items freely, rotate and arrange them however you like – there is no right or wrong and no room is ever the same. Use the tools at your disposal wisely, and you'll create spaces worthy of an interior-design magazine!

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7.43/day in the week to Aug 6 → 11.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

very repetetive, not precise with mouse movements
meh
Gorgeous little game. Really chill. You'll beat it in a couple of hours. I recommend spreading it out until more levels are added as DLC or something. Great animations and just so cozy.
I do like the aesthetic of the game. It's very pretty, and I appreciate the art done for portraits and wall decor. However, there's a huge learning curve with the controls and even after finishing the game I still was struggling with movement. There is no option to change keybinds, and even in the tutorial where it introduces some of the controls it doesn't explain everything well (I had to accidentally discover that E and R moved the camera vertically). It's a frustrating rather than relaxing experience. I also found the "story" not at all easy to follow and very bare bones. There was very little to connect each area (besides the reusing of assets), and I didn't understand who all of the characters were supposed to be in relation to each other. None of this would be a problem if it didn't act like it was all one big story that had a resolution after finishing all but two areas. In general, this game had some interesting concepts, but I couldn't get past the frustration with controlling the movement, and the rest was just meh.
Picked this up on sale and it was... okay? I guess? If I was to sum this up in a handful of words, it'd probably be "only vibes." This game looks beautiful, but unfortunately that's all there is to it. Having gone through all of the main levels, there's really nothing to it. Unpacking, a game very similar, had a linear story that was easy enough to understand. However, Hozy and it's plot beats are so disconnected I found myself unable to care about what little plot there was. The gameplay itself is fine, but the mouse sensitivity is far too finicky, and when a part of the game is cleaning and getting into very difficult spots it makes it fairly tedious. The game's visuals would make for a great storyboarding tool, but if you're looking for a good Unpacking-like I'd probably skip out on this game unless it's on sale.
cute idea but trash execution.
