House Flipper Remastered Collection

After playing both the original House Flipper and House Flipper 2 (though sadly finishing neither), House Flipper feels like a pretty nice remake on the original. I also finally finished the Sauna after being unable to do it in the original!! My one recommendation (at time of writing) is to PLEASE make the water in the lakes look better than just a solid color.

Just like the original and just as fun.

If you already own HF1, I don't recommend getting the Remastered. If you don't have HF1, I still recommend getting HF2 over this. The reasons I got this was because it was dirt cheap with a bundle and they promised it works with the HF1 workshop. Well turns out it's not true. The workshop feature doesn't work at all and it crashes the whole game and refuses to start if you have HF1 installed. The game is buggy, lighting looks awful and you can't really run the game with the highest graphics if you don't have the latest high end PC. So it just ends up looking worse than the original HF1. The missions are not as different as promised so redoing all the jobs again just feels extremely grindy, not in a good way. Also remaking a game that's not even that old is just greedy. It does have some QoL upgrades compared to HF1 and it's pretty sweet that all the DLCs are included. The new furniture and stuff are also nice. But I would prefer having the promised workshop items over the new ones. I'm really sad to give this a negative review since I really love HF1 and HF2 and have close to 1000 hours in them combined. I would love the things to change so I could change my review. So tldr: Wait for the bugs and workshop issues to be fixed before buying, or just get HF2 instead.

There are critical game-breaking bugs present in several mission levels. Take Wilder Feasthawk in FLIPPERBURG as an example: the game freezes when selecting specific furniture pieces. While it may not crash randomly on rare occasions, enabling the grid view will trigger an inevitable freeze every single time. Have these severe glitches been properly resolved in your updates? Does your development team actually conduct thorough playtesting after rolling out every game update?
