We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Reviews
It's a bit hard to recommend, it gets way too repetitive fast, the voice lines while exploring will drive you mad, here's a fix for that, you need to rename a file. Go to <GAME_DIR>\SANDLAND\Content\CriNonAsset\Sound\en\ and rename the ACS_V_MSG_MAP.awb file to whatever you want. Overall the art style is the main selling point and the story is decent if you are familiar with Toriyama's works. Gameplay, the open world nature of the game and the reused assets to fill it and pad it, makes it feel like a AA game, so grab with a deep discount. The game still has some minor stutters, otherwise it ran good (+90 fps @ 1440p).

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Aug 30: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

SAND LAND seems pretty cool at first glance, thanks to the graphics and the overall visuals, also because of the characters and somewhat of the story and even the big enough world you can go around and explore. The premise and the idea is also promising, the game is lengthy enough, has many quests and side content to play and honestly I would be pretty happy to leave this game here, but... I think the biggest issue with SAND LAND is not diverse enough gameplay wise. For example, you learn the basics of vehicle combat, find a few new vehicles which you can customize somewhat well, but overall you can beat anyone if you circle around them. Another example is the quests: you will basically do fetch quests, find / kill something or collect things to make another thing type of quests, and occasionally there are stealth missions, which are feels like time wasters... and all of this for a 35+ hour long game, which just can't keep the game interesting. And I can bring this issue up with other part of the gameplay aswell like with the voice lines between the other characters when you travel, they repeat so many times. Collecting starts to get annoying, rather than something you would be interested to do and so on. Then there is another core problem which is the stutters. Thanks to the UE engine you can get stutters when effects show up on your screen. I had to tinker in the config file in order to get it to bareable levels, which made the menu background flicker, but at least the game is pretty enjoyable. It's really a shame. If you would face similar problems, check out Leon96's guide for a fix. I could also mention that the story at certain parts are clearly dictated by the plot. Although I liked the story and the characters especially, I have to admit there were occasions when the characters could have easily solve certain situations or deal with certain enemies, but the plot wanted it otherwise. It can get pretty annoying to see these. It's just really annoying to see a game with great ideas and big potential to have issues at the fundamentals. It's still an okay game, but to me it leaves a sour taste after beating it through. I recommend getting this only when it's on sale, and if you are interested in it. I'm still positive about it, but I would rather leave my review mixed, then positive to be honest.
FIRST.... the sound track forthis game... is... AWSOME!!!!! single handedly the best feature of the game. and the voice acting (at least japanese. i havent touched english) is really great..... but.... the single mind numbing thing you will pretty much see on every negative review as for the rest of the game (TLDR at bottom) --IMAGINE YOURSELF LOCKED IN A ROOM YOU CANT ESCAPE WITH 3-4 PARROTS THAT ONLY KNOW A HANDFUL OF SENTENCES AND FEEL OBLIGATED TO REMIND YOU OF THEIR ENTIRE VOCABULARY EVERY 10 SECONDS-- THAT... is this game in a nutshell at the time of writing this i have spent THIRTY TWO HOURS of listening to these idiots repeat the same (insert SEVERAL pages of mind numbing expletives here)*ING lines OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN! with only SLIGHT variations depending on location... --(im pretty sure the act of repeating things indefinitely that you cant turn off is actually an old banned form of military torture....) and EVERY bloody battle.. and almost every special enemy move... you have to relive the same bloody tutorial grade advice... FOR ETERNITY!!!! the ONLY thing that makes it better is leaving captions on and --DELETING THESE FILES-- Preserves your sanity SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/SANDLAND/SANDLAND/Content/CriNonAsset/Sound/ (JA or EN depending on audio language selected) ACS_V_MSG_BATTLE.awb and ACS_V_MSG_MAP.awb sound files... the downside being you no longer get audio Queues when Thief smells treasure which is linked to the battle file (one of his skills can either randomly make an item to pick up or actually spot pre placed cache of hidden items) another gripe i have is the thief gets a skill called "Item Picker" that literally destroys all shrubbery and ore in a MASSIVE area and auto collects them along with any enemy drops in range... this skill is the ONLY reason the game becomes remotely playable without losing sanity due to the EXCESSIVE GRINDING.. BUT.. it can ONLY be used if an un-mined resource is in the area, meaning you have to manually go and pick up every... little... thing... even when you snipe things a mile away... no vaccum for you... (seriously tho if you still buy the game after reading this... its the FIRST skill you go for. nothing else maters... ignore thiefs stealing skills entirely and just get this and his passives cause his actives are trash with super long cooldowns that dont work on bosses or larger enemies in general and his mech theft skill dont work in battle) the game also doesnt start actually being amusing til you get to almost 2/3 max mech level also every single explorable ruin and jump-bot-able pillar with treasure on it is (mostly) the same copy pasted assets... slightly re-arranged... the game is actually pretty massive open area but at some point all you notice is all the reused assets i hope i get to the fun bits soon... but the PC/NPC'S THAT NEVER SHUT UP have left me wanting to commit war crimes... EDIT: oh and having to MANUALLY bypass the vehicle summoning every time, unless you are already in one... also really bad... specially in combat (there is no option to auto skip).. also after getting your 2nd ride, your mechs despawn if you so much as walk a few feet away.... making you manually select and resummon them again (NO idea why you couldnt just "press button to resummon last ride and hold to choose" TT TLDR this would almost be a pretty fun game if they fixed two things... 1: make thiefs vacuum work on normal enemy drops without a harvestable resource being nearby.... 2: NEVER let the characters repeat the same line more than once... EVER!!!!! EDIT#2: ... and enemies simply despawn and respawn in their original location at full health if you go to far... in a game with vehicles moving at high speed... all you can do is move in a circle on every fight hoping you dont go out of range
Mind-numbingly boring. I tried to push through because i liked the look and feel of the game, but couldn't bring myself to explore another inch of that desert.
A great story and fun characters, good graphics, and a star cast of seiyuus from One Piece. There are only two things that really irritated me. First was that the delay between phrases during auto-play in the cutscenes it very long, despite the fact that I'm a slow reader. The second, was that you have to go at least two thirds of the story through to start clearing tha open-world map because there are simply no means for you to clear some of the dungeons and sights of interest. So I simply recommend following the story till the end, and if didn't have enough - go and explore. Also the optimization could have been a bit better.
Buena historia. Está bien elaborada y eso debo reconocerlo. Fuera de eso es un JRPG mediocre. Más considerando el precio al que se lo vende. Las batallas se vuelven repetitivas y monótonas. Lo mismo con las misiones secundarias.
Great casual fun and great on the Deck
After 25 hours in, I completed the Royal Secret No More main quest. It's a great game, seeing that I've read and watched the manga and Anime that goes along with the game. There's more to do in this game and I'm going to have so much more fun trying to figure it out.
A simple, charming, well-crafted adventure designed to please your inner child.
