I bought the Deluxe Edition, just for an extra truck and a few additional liveries... Now I don't know a lot about monster trucks other than them driving over and smashing cars, objects, and pulling stunts, but for a monster truck game, this honestly isn't that special. I know it's not the same developers of the Unleashed games, I know for a fact that this was the studio behind the publishing for Nickelodeon Kart Racers games. I guess if whether you're a Hot Wheels Monster Trucks fan, Monster Jam fan, or just a monster truck fan in general, you [i]could[/i] get at least [i]some[/i] mileage from this. But as a game that tries to do both, well, there's potential, it's just not fully brought out. The Career mode of this game is relatively short, and I had to restart events quite a bit, a few of them can be a bit irritating, but at least once you complete an objective, it's completed for good even if you don't get the other objectives. So that way, you can focus on one objective at a time per attempt, so credit is where it's due. I did find a few physics issues such as wheels clipping through the ground, and even the tiniest objects you can smash through can affect the direction of your truck which makes no sense logically. The physics aren't quite in the best shape for a monster truck game. I got all achievements within like 5 hours on my Career playthrough too, so this can be a quick and simple 100% achievement list if you're one of those kinds of guys. It can be a little annoying to get all objectives done in each event, and even boring because you just play in the same arenas for each zone, with the only differences being the stuff you can smash and the layout of the ramps. It's like there's so little variety here. But at least the game is easy and simple to play, with a Trick List if you're not sure how to do specific tricks. Trust me, feeling bored is worse than feeling annoyed. Would I recommend this game at full price, even with the Introductory Offer currently? Ehhhhh, no, not really. The amount of content you get in the game is so small, that a game like this isn't really worth the money. I don't care that it's new, I don't think $40 is worth it. $55 for the Deluxe edition? Hell no, the game's content isn't enough for it to justify the price tag. If it was like, $10 or $15, then it'll be way more worth it. Just get Monster Jam: Showdown by Milestone. Or if you're just looking for a better Hot Wheels game, get either of the Hot Wheels Unleashed games.

Bought it so me and my son could play it together - he loves monster trucks and has gone to see monster jam and events in person. We put it down after less than 30 minutes of gameplay. It repeats the same map with practically the same objective 5 times. It didn't look like we were close to even unlocking another map either. Barebones is an understatement. This is not worth the money, even on sale. There are much better racers out there.

it's insane that not only have i been a steam member for 20 years, but I also have a 4 year old son. he loves hot wheels monster trucks. this game has hot wheels monster trucks. you drive around and smash things and fight giant robot "bosses". he is exactly the target audience for this game. he adores it. it's fun to just drive around and hit things. 10/10 no notes

MATTEL MOMENT До ужаса скучная карьера, протекающая ВСЕГО НА 7 АРЕНАХ, с одними и теми же заданиями. Причем местами горел пукан, не потому что сложно - а потому что на некоторых уровнях все задачи выполнить невозможно вкупе с хреновой колизией и управлением монстртраками. Добавьте сюда факт, что игра не всегда засчитывает сбивание опр. обьектов. А также, что в игре нет нормального и обещанного мультиплеера. Плевок в душу фанатов, или обсер разрабов с издателями - решайте сами. Но 1300 рублей?... Я в шоке. Нет ни нормальной графики, ни атмосферной озвучки ведущего "соревнований", так еще и управление невозможно настроить под себя. Я не осуждаю любителей данного бренда - я и сам в детстве подобным увлекался, но эта игра - наглая выкачка денег (и мы даже не говорим про deluxe edition) с жалкой парой скинов (p.s. 29.03.2025 - карьера пройдена на 100%).

Also ich weiß nicht. Es ist immer nur das selbe, von Level zu Level, den ersten abschnitt lang immer die 2 gleichen Maps und ständig die gleichen Mission. Ca ne stunde dauert der Anfang wenn man die Level Spielt wo man bestimmte Trucks nutzen muss, die hab ich jetzt ausgelassen, in 2. Abschnitt kommt dann mal ne neue Map dazu, aber auch hier, alles das selbe, ein Level wie das andere null Abwechslung, selbst die Events sind das gleiche. Wer drauf steht wird Spaß haben. Für zwischen durch mal auch, aber nicht für 40€ bzw gerade im Sale für 36. Wer so was wie bei den anderen Hotwheels Games erwartet hat, wird total enttäuscht Kauft euch für das Geld lieber ein Bier.

Bought this for my kid who loves monster trucks and the Monster Jam games. Graphics are adequate, the controls are really bad. Also when you do stunts if you extend a combo out for a long time and fail to complete a chain of combos you lose all of the points you'd been earning for all the successfully performed because you rolled the truck at the end of the chain. With better controls you'd be able to right the truck as in Monster Jam.

Hot Wheels Monster Trucks: Stunt Mayhem™ is what all matters are do stunts nothing more as the title says, dont excpet anything other than that: Pros: + 20 trucks + graphics are ok + physics are arcade but actually way more fun than Monster Jam Steel Titan games + career mode is simple but fine 4-5 hours long for 100% + stunt maps have good fun design + bosses arent anything special just drive to all the objectives and destory them and then reach to the boss but its fine Cons: - volcano map looks odd there are no shadows - objectives to do are a little samey since only 2 events use the tricks, the rest are destory hot dog carts - not a big fan of the stunt track list only 6 with 1 more as night variant I had my short hours of fun with it, If you played the Monster Jam Steel Titan games and like the freestyle stuff then this here is also for you and alteast for me its actually way better. This Hot Wheels game isnt anything special you only do stunt in a few places with objectives but if you like arcade racer or Hot Wheels you can check it out but wait for a deep sale 65% alteast!

Game is fun I wouldn’t recommend it for full price. The $35 they are asking I think is fair. It’s fun and you just drive around the arenas doing tricks and air combos. You do smash stuff like barrels and campers and cars. I don’t think it’s a terrible game at all. It’s a quick short game to 100%. I didn’t get the deluxe edition cause I wasn’t sure if I really would like the game. I do like monster trucks so it’s fun for the type of game it is. Check it out and if you don’t like it you could always refund it. Graphics are great as well.
