Constantly needing to swap out ammo in a convoluted manor. Gun is supposed to carry 4 ammo but will ask for a re-load after only firing once twice or thrice. Character constantly puts gun away, leading to clunky play Knock back from hits is inconsistent. instant death occurs in certain areas. I can see the hazard i'm not near the hazard but game over! Grappling hook will most of the time not connect to surfaces that it should quite often, eventually it will connect. It's a nice Idea but it's not been executed well. I was quite enjoying but In Remington/old town where the invisible platforms (without sparkle) and random unexplainable damage taken started. It's Janky!
I really wanted this game to be better than it has been so for. What I can say it is has some good writing, some good music, and some good ideas. However it doesn't exactly execute very well. The camera is terrible, sometimes swapping so fast between scenes that it's jarring enough to make you lose the flow of your movement. The platforming is questionable, partly because of the camera and partly because it just doesn't feel quite right. Walking down the street just to suddenly have the camera do a 90 degree turn to put you on another street instead of just a fade transition (which already exist in the game) is an odd choice. It feels like "Hey, look what we can do!" and less "What's going to work best in the game?" Which brings me to my next issue... The "gunplay" needs some work too. Having to swap between all these different bullets started out as a neat little idea when you had 2 or 3 to work with, but the more options you have the more of a chore it becomes. Being able to do a quick reload is fantastic, but a quick swap to a different magazine would have been really nice too. It's not like there's a shortage of buttons here, it could have been programmed in. Also an option to back out of the dialog would have been really nice, as sometimes you can get yourself caught talking to someone you don't need to about things you don't care about but you have to finish the stream to the end. No fun. It's like that stupid owl in Zelda games. I know I mentioned the writing earlier, and it really is quite good, but there are some issues that pop up with what you're being told/asked to do. For instance, your boss tells you to go check out a building, but you need a warrant to get in the build, but you can only get a warrant from you boss, who lets you leave without a warrant just to have to come back and ask him about a warrant which he says he can't give you because you haven't done a thing that, at the time, seems totally unrelated to what he just told you to do. I wanted to like this game. I loved the idea. However, at the end of the day, I think I've got to sum it up by saying it's reach exceeds it's grasp.
Has this game been tested by players? It's a chore to play. Dialogue (uninteresting and replaying if you ever bump again against a NPC), gun reloading (click on each shot bullet to empty and re-click to fill, bullet by bullet!), completely lost (no idea where to go, no map), etc. Seriously, this is a chore.
Sadly I had to ask for a refund, game would be funny and kinda entertaining (well, the level "maze" design is kinda weird, but its bearable), if it was not for the camera which is annoying and in combination with character jumping causes headache (I dont recall having this issue with any of games I have played in last 15 years).
2,5,d platform kendince hikayeli dedektif oluyoruz vs lakin oynanış güzel olsada hikaye içine çekmedi beni
Pros: --Well-written and funny dialogue --Almost 3D-like design interesting and gentle on the eyes --Unique bullet options Cons: --Dialogue not always updated, resulting in NPC repeating same comments after important events (like in the case of the cat in the diner after awarding player money). --No autosave, so if you die you return to the last save state (not a pleasure). --Reloading is a chore, as the gun only carries four bullets. Programmers should have mapped each bullet to a key with unlimited ammo and removed the reload concept. And you have to hold the button down to reload--pressing it merely opens the chamber--which makes for much vexation. --Several "dungeons" are confusing and maze-like, and have no maps. In some areas, the confusion makes you not want to play anymore due to the unclear solution. There are also no shortcuts after beating an area (e.g. if you fall into the garbage dump the only way out is through a labyrinthine chimney each and every time. --The story takes a backseat. So many names are thrown around, like Shelly and Adrien and Leo, that I really didn't directly see the connection between the three different cases. It was like the game was developed first and the story line was placed over it like window dressing. This game felt too much like a chore to play, and I say that as someone who backed it on Kickstarter.
This is a kickstartered 3D rendered 2D platformer/adventure game hybrid where you control a low poly detective and his low poly cat, jumping around, shooting things and solving detective cases. I appreciate the low quality, low poly graphics were because the game was only backed by just over 1,000 people, but game development is a lot like an amusement park ride. Except instead of "You must be this tall to ride", "You must have this much budget/talent to participate". I'd have more sympathy, but they're charging $15 USD for this, that's the same price as Resident Evil 2, Metro:Exodus or Pathfinder: Kingmaker when they're on sale. So you could buy those, or this low poly platformer ripping off Minecrafts outdated graphics. Yeah, that's gonna be a thumbs down from me.
Dedektif olup gizemleri araştırıyorsunuz. Keyifli ama fiyatını hak etmiyor, indirimde belki alınabilir.
XUnity.
