do i have to play dusks 1 through 81 fi
Dusk '82 blindsided me. I mean that in the best way possible. I went in blind with no expectations and I came out of it with a newfound appreciation for creator toolsets. The game itself is pretty fun. The basic levels have good puzzles and unique challenges. There were some levels that I really got into and others that I really didn't. That's fine though because these levels sort of taught me what was possible with the game. Almost like the campaign was the tutorial. If you play just for the levels, you'll have a good time, but if you play for the whole package, oh boy you're in for a treat. Dusk '82 comes packed in with workshop support and a level editor. It's a bit rough around the edges, but with some adjusting is surprisingly intuitive. There's a lot you can do and I've already seen some remarkable creations from other players. There's even an achievement for uploading your own level, which is pretty based imo. I love encouraging people to try out game dev/design and this is one of the best possible ways to do it. Feed them a game and then give them all the tools to make their own version of it. I 100% recommend this one. If not to fans of David Szymanski, then to fans of games with creative workshops. Puzzle building has never been so cool. (The music also slaps)
A shorter fun retro style lead up to Dusk. I enjoyed the puzzle mechanics and the sound design along with the surprisingly well done level design, especially the final fight with Big John. Worth the few bucks it is.
Incroyable le gameplay et les graphismes de l'Atari 2600 sont juste incroyable les musiques sont vraiment excellentes un bon 10/10
Fun little side game, but has some really janky and infuriating enemy AI that makes certain levels feel completely luck based at times (especially those last few stages, yuck). [Would only recommend this to die-hard fans of the main game]
i just beat the game did not realize it was this short altho i got it years ago nothing bad to say about it really
David Szymanski's Dusk '82 is a cute little puzzler with some ingenious little nuggets of game design, all for the price of a coffee. Shockingly, Szymanski has managed to transfer much of Dusk's core mechanics into a puzzle game context in a way that feels effortless. Circle-strafing, dodging bullets, and blowing ♥♥♥♥ up shockingly captures the feeling of Dusk while still offering a novel experience. It's not particularly long (I beat the game in one session) and won't hit your game of the year qualifications, but the charming low-fi graphics and Andrew Hulshult's pulsating 8-bit remixes add to the atmosphere. There's also a shockingly large modding community, so if you enjoy your time with it, there's always more to come.
5,49 eurót elkérni egy "promo" játékért. Jobbesetben is ingyenes játéknak elmenne, de bevallom fizettem érte 0.5 centet egy kulcsos oldalon. És azt is sajnálom rá.
This game had me loosing my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mind but it's pretty stupid fun for a decent bit if you wanna get all the achievements. Some of these levels had me actually loose it for a while but if you're a fan of puzzle games this one is for you since it constantly goes on sale for like 2 bucks.
A simple 8 bit puzzle game that acts as a prequel to the Boomer Shooter Dusk. It's honestly pretty fun and the achievements are pretty easy to get too.
