Das Spielprinzip von Reigns ist schnell erklärt und für mich funktioniert es nur mit der Game of Thrones Thematik: Man nimmt als Daenerys, Jon, Cersei, Tyrion, Arya und einigen mehr auf dem eisernen Thron platzt und versucht möglichst lange als König der 7 (6) Königslande zu überleben. Gar nicht so einfach, denn du musst den Kriegern, Glauben, Volk und der eisernen Bank gerecht werden. Karten mit Anliegen, Fragen, Gerüchte, Kriege usw. werden vorgehalten und du entscheidest, entweder/oder, links/rechts. Im Laufe des Spielfortschritts werden mehr Karten, Charaktere und Szenarien freigeschaltet. Trotz minimalistischer Gestaltung ist es im Sale (1,30€) noch in Ordnung.

Każda decyzja wpływa na twoją armię, lud, kościół i twoje złoto, a utrzymanie równowagi we wszystkich czterech aspektach jest o wiele trudniejsze, niż się wydaje. Jeden zły ruch i nagle toczysz wojnę, której nie obiecałeś, albo twój doradca nie żyje, albo… cóż… Ty nie żyjesz. Uwielbiam, jak oddaje klimat serialu Gry o Tron: trudne sojusze, nieoczekiwane rezultaty i to ciągłe napięcie, gdzie zawsze jesteś o jeden zły wybór od katastrofy. Jest przezabawna, dramatyczna i strategiczna, wszystko to zamknięte w krótkich sesjach, idealnych do szybkiego wskakiwania i wyskakiwania. Jeśli lubisz czarny humor, chaotyczne podejmowanie decyzji i rządzenie (i ponoszenie porażek) w Westeros bez konieczności zapamiętywania każdego drzewa postaci, Reigns: Game of Thrones to świetny wybór.
