Horror Maze

Definitely not something I'll be putting on my best hidden gems list, but it's still something I enjoyed. The mechanics are very simple, the mazes are pretty mazey, and the diversity in monsters and locations is quite good. I've had a hand full of issues with the split-screen, but when it works it is hands down the best way to play, as playing with a friend amplifies the experience significantly. So although this game isn't perfect, I personally quite like it, and I can see others having a fair bit of fun with it to.

It is what it is which is a bunch of scary mazes you try to escape and it does a great job at it. It's also pretty difficult. In the amount I have played so far I managed to only complete one maze on easy. If you like difficult scary games then I would recommend you trying it out. I got scared never playing again

The game itself is pretty good, it is fun and very challenging, and above all scary and tense. But currently this product suffers from very serious frame rate problems. At first I thought it was a problem of my pc only, since who has been following my reviews for some time knows well that unfortunately my machine lags horribly with ALL games. Yes, I should definitely call an expert to have it checked once and for all! However, for this game in particular, frame rate problems have been experienced also by at least another user, who owns a VERY good computer, so I think that some optimization work should be done here. I exploit this review for reporting this problem to the devs, hoping, as always, to be of some help for improving their game. That said, this remains a very good horror game in my opinion, with a surprisingly huge variety of cool mazes and cool monsters, so I definitely recommend it to everyone. If you, reader, are going to buy and try this game, please feel free to tell me, in the comments of this review, if you experience the same frame rate issues. If no one else reports this problem, I'll change this review after some time, for honesty sake. Cheers guys!
