Hope For Village

I am about 4 hours into the game and I believe I have explored every square of the map, completed all but one quest (or I should call them errand), defeated every enemy and obtained the most powerful gear in every slot. I guess I haven't done fishing in any serious manner but that's it. But even at this point, the game offered no story whatsoever, so I can say that the story is non-existent in this game. The game is definitely unfinished. This is evident from the redundant "crafting material", many NPCs that I cannot interact, seemingly unfinished map, and an interface that can accommodate multiple hero slots but with no sign of other heroes. Even the start of the game seems bugged; there were 3 holes in the ground that I am supposed to grow potatoes, but only two of them work (and the other hole just consumes your potato seed for nothing). Combat system is fine -- just good ol' turn-based, but is mediocre overall and gets repetitive and grindy really fast. Although $1 (taking into account the 40% discount when the game was initially launched) is not much money for me and I did get my share of fun, I believe a game so unpolished and unfinished should not charge money. Not recommended.

Как заявляет разработчик: [i] «Hope For Village is an Old-School RPG game.»[/i]. Настолько олд скул, что аж сделана на RPG Marker. Привычно уже видеть, что под что-то старое прячут что-то кривое и уродливое. Мы в этой замечательно игре будем мальчиком на побегушках. Вот видите вы нпс, подходите, а там везде идентичный текст: «Здравствуйте, сир, можете мне помочь?». Далее излагается, что нужно сделать. Вот вы «сир», т.е. монарх, будете бегать за курами, чтобы собрать яиц, и отдать их, будете рыбачить, будете сеять картошку и убирать урожай. Так и слышу, как простой люд шепчется за спиной: «Экий вы, сударь, простофиля». Про бои говорить даже нечего, всё в духе jrpg, благо хоть противники осязаемые, а не появляются абы где. При том что в игре напрочь отсутствует сюжет, наискучнейший геймплей, были вложены достаточное большие силы в графическую составляющую. Вот ради чего было добавлять в игру нормальные текстуры, смену дня и ночи, играть с освещением и увеличивать цветовую палитру? Ну, ради чего? Зато музыка и звуки на привычном низком уровне исполнения. Вот [i] Piranha Bytes[/i] умеет примерять роль рабочих на простых игроках, но в их играх это чуть ли не самое малое. Однако [i] Cloaz Studio[/i] почему-то решило на этом построить весь геймплей.

It's like a Stardew Valley clone using a bunch of random assets and put together without direction and incorrect resolutions meshed all together on the RPG Maker engine.. Needless to say, it's quite terrible.

No depth, No Explanations, Terrible Music. Feels extremely unfinished.

2D havasını dolu dolu hissettirecek dinamiklere sahip bir oyun. Daha iyisi gelene kadar en iyisi bu! NOT: Oyunda G3 olmaması açıkçası beni derinden üzdü fakat bir sonraki oyunda olacağına inanıyorum.

i have no idea how to play the game at all no tutorial or anything it dosent say on the page how to play it looks cool but its not user friendly :/

It's not for story fans, if you are a fan of rpg games and you like to leveling, crafting for your character it is fair enough for 1$!

The game is very nice. You live as a survivor and help the people and protect the people. You can act and level up, which makes it easier for you to get stronger and kill the monsters.
