A short and sweet ultrakill-like arcade game about a Fish with a Gun. The only thing I could possibly say negative about it is that the game is short. Even then, for what it is, it's an absolute blast to turn your brain off and run on instinct to eradicate the ocean and skies. Overall, a great experience!

Who knew that a fish with a grappling hook could be So Much Fun?!

Do NOT be fooled by this game's simple art style or mechanics. This game is extremely fun. The movement is very fluid, and I was surprised by how easy it was to get used to. But the game isn't a walk in the park! If you get overconfident, you will be struck down by lightning, cannonballs, sea urchins, and several more. I won't spoil the final boss in world 5, but it was incredibly satisfying to conquer. After that, there's still so much challenge left in the game... Each level has a number of challenge stars that get progressively harder. You can beat challenges to get stars, which unlock funny cosmetics for your fish. They are all great. There are 95 stars in the game, I think. The last 20-30 will certainly make you work for them. At the time of this review, I have 65 stars, and I can't see myself getting higher than 80 without a coach. Speaking of tech: This game is insane. Each world unlocks a new weapon you can switch between. I won't spoil the new weapons or their secret uses, but they have REALLY high skill ceilings. I swap to one to swing myself in the air > then use my height to lay waste to the enemies around me > then I dive bomb the enemies below me. There's no tutorial for the game, so it up to you to figure out everything, but the star challenges provide some good hints about how to most effectively utilize your full arsenal and move-set. I highly recommend this game to just mess around and have fun with. I never got bored by playing levels over and over again.

This game is a lot more fun then I originally thought it was gonna be. Loved the concept but the different weapons and different objectives make for a super fun experience! The music and art is also amazing! Game might be a tiny tiny bit more expensive then I would suggest but there's a lot of fun to be had especially if you like trying to go for big highscores! https://youtu.be/R83IZPwNXHM

A fun and neat little game! I enjoyed the new introductions of guns and other mechanics to keep the different levels fun and fresh! The music especially was quite wonderful, which is no surprise considering ItellaItella was the mastermind behind the music. I've followed ItellaItella on YouTube for quite awhile now and have even gotten to listen to ItellaItella create some songs way back in 2020 and knew they were going to create some amazing soundtracks one day, happy to see that proven true. Wonderful to see this project come to fruition and getting to play such a fun game with neat mechanics, fun fish skins to unlock, and with a truly enjoyable soundtrack to listen to and enjoy. It really captures the old-school arcade vibes it aimed to. I can't wait to see what both Justin1L8 and ItellaItella do next!
