This game is so funny. Playing casually, just to see the different areas/skins/ending? It's all whimsy. I'm a fish with a gun. Playing for all the fish skins? I've become an apathetic being, incapable of understanding positive emotion. My heart has replaced it with a white and blue star, whispering in my ear a score threshold so impossibly high... yet so near. I yearn for sweet release. Just 100 more points. Then I can play as a car.
A side-scrolling movement shooter about an American-coded fish. Very intuitively fun gameplay with extremely high skill ceiling and wide degree of skill expression. It's like Ultrakill but you are a fish! (I have not played Ultrakill)
She hook my line until I sniper
The moment I fished up this game, I was hooked on a feeling. I was swept away by the alluring waves of the gameplay, the high tides of adrenaline as I splished and splashed my way through the levels.
its fish shoot fish world out there
Fun little arcade game, reminds me of luftrausers.
Smokin' Sexy Sniper!!
This game truly was fishtastic, some would even say it's one in a krillion.
I've known the developer as a good friend of mine for a while and have been play-testing the game for a long time now. So I understand if I may have bias. (I've also played a lot more than my time at review may suggest) I don't typically play arcade games, I find slow strategy games to be more my style. Hook Line and Sniper is by far the best arcade game I have played in a while. It's easily re-playable, fast enough to be engaging constantly, but slow enough to employ actual strategy through the game's weapon system (Anchor my beloved). The game's challenges are really fun, encouraging you to use the mechanics of the game to their full potential. Even If I may be bias, I would still highly recommend this game for a quick, action-packed, fulfilling experience well worth the price tag!
