Another banger by Sylph. He really nails the arcade spirit of old and repurposed it within modern roguelite design. I'm usually not into roguelites or roguelikes at all, but this one isn't a roguelite in the usual ways. Level design feels very consistent, enemy placement and AI is really well thought out even within the random nature of them, The reviews saying it feels like a combination of Zelda 2 (Adventure of Link)/Wonder Boy/Megaman (Little Samson maybe) are accurate, in the best of ways. This is Sylph's most addicting game so far for me and I'd recommend it to anyone who loves old Arcade games, 8 bit challenging action games or people who like bite-sized runs of roguelites that still require a ton of skill.

Elden Ring prepared me to finally beat Quick Quest today. I first played Quick Quest on release and it hooked me in right away. As expected from developer Sylph, the controls are tight and the gameplay is fresh and compelling. The pixel art/graphics are also beautiful. Many visual references are made to NES classics, making it feel like some unlicensed cartridge you'd buy in a back alley behind the video rental store. Absolutely worth checking out!
Fun little game. The dev has a beta branch that runs perfectly on the deck. The only issue is that achievements don't work on beta branches.
Got interested at first glance. Checked the developer. It's the developer of Garlic. I liked Garlic more than Celeste. I purchased Quick Quest without hesitation. I haven't been disappointed. I loved it to bits.
Quick Quest is anything but a quick playthrough. It's fun but can be frustrating if you aren't used to Roguelikes. I enjoyed it though 10/10
Siempre es bueno un lindo rapidito.-
Love this game so far! It's really fun and it's easy to pick up.
