Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Aug 26 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Bought the game attempted to change the resolution it completely broke the game and now home world 2 will not boot up even after multiple clean reinstallations of the game as far as i'm aware there is no official fix for this and this has been an issue since 2015 from what i've been able to read in the steam help page i do not suggest buying this as there will clearly be no support or fix for this issue and your buying a broken package.
HW 1 classic is broken. Ships just circle around instead of docking

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Pretty decent remaster, especially if you grab the Players Patch. Shame about the threequel.
win11, i9-13900, 4070。闪退、卡的没法玩。还不如盗版流畅。 补个票好难
If you want to feel what a cosmic exodus truly is, this is the game for you. The atmosphere, the silence of space, the weight of survival — it's all here. And the soundtrack? Worth it alone.
Gearbox broke this game with a patch that added a bug that the original developers fixed ages and ages ago. Ships won't dock with the mothership unless you manually move them directly in front of the docking bay and then issue the dock command. Otherwise they circle the mothership until they run out of fuel. It's been an issue since before Homeworld 3 released and gearbox apparently has no interest in fixing it. There are other places this game could be purchased without this bug. I would go looking there instead of here.
The originals work, you can crank them up too without mods and they do play and have a much more immersive atmosphere that the quality-of-life changes kind of remove or nerf a bit in the remake. The bad, its dead and my opinion is because it's a niche within a genre. While probably one of the few RTS games to really try something utilizing 3d graphics as PART of the gameplay (omni-direction) because you are in space this is literally a part of the game. The moment you open your Radar you figure this out quickly! It wasn't well known yet still had a dedicated following! Gameplay will wear on you over time, and it is definitely limited in scope by its own design (there's only so much you can do with a fleet). That's not a reason to pass it because the experience is well worth the adventure. You will quickly feel bad about losing anybody after the first few missions too during combat or even running out of fuel is a thing in the original version which again the remastered takes away COMPLETELY!!!! Stop doing this crap, gamers aren't dumb it's an RTS quit letting people with no talent touch these IPs! Quality of Life ruins games, swear! That and this also fell into the dumb RTS is a SPORT fad that wear off and imploded, honestly this trend kind of almost killed of the genre entirely due to huge amounts of burnout and games like this being tailored for competitive play ONLY, this is not a good thing and clearly it failed.
Not to bad i like it put im a fun of STRATEGY GAMES - I did not play the original games, so my review comes untainted by fandom both possitive and negative. OVERVIEW: At this time the game is best enjoyed single player. The campaign in HW1 Remastered is amazing and I expect HW2R's to be great as well. The story, cinematics, music and atmosphere all get 10/10 CONTROLS: Some players have a little trouble getting used to the controls and while this is in part due to the fully 3d nature of the game I also feel it is in part down to the developers descision to keep the old control system rather than improving upon it. That said, everything works nicely and I found everythign easy to get used to. 8/10 GRAPHICS: The game is simply stunning close up, ships are well detailed, docking ships looks awesome, the enviroments and FX are great. Could they be better.. Probably.. Are they good enough, definitly. 9/10 OVERALL: An exellent game, I highly recommed it to anyone who loves, RTS, sci-fi, or who is just looking to try something new or find a great story to be immersed in. 9/10
