Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Aug 26 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fun RTS
Good old Homeworld but refreshed :-) If you've never played it - the campaign story is top-notch, you get to really FEEL it not just play it; the music is great, the graphics very good. The game is a challenge, too, you need to manage your expenses carefully since the resources are very limited in each mission.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

It’s actually amazing how we don’t have many RTS games that truly operate on all three dimensions. It’s also amazing how the original game came out in 1999 before it was even the 21 century. I played the original many years ago. The remaster still got it. The joy of capturing so many ship with salvage frigates and then setting them on my enemies never gets old. What the remaster doesn’t get however is all those crappy changes that H2 brought in. For starters I can no longer maintain the giant ass army I once had with all those captured ships long-term because of the stupid level scaling that makes the enemy almost impossible to beat. So I had to sell off most of my ships just before end of the mission and rebuild them every new mission which was annoying as hell. Also I didn’t like H2 missions as much as the original. Those stupid radiation and constantly timed missions pissed me off enough to almost to give this a negative review. However, in the last mission you get access to your ancestors incredibly overpowered ship that can basically teleport anywhere on the map and one shot-stuff with its beam. That’s basically how I beat the game and that managed to save the rating here. One thing I realize this time round is the game is pretty good for using your Prefrontal cortex. You gotta be quick and think of stuff on the spot because unlike other games that give you time to breathe, this game doesn't. You need to come up with stuff dynamically.
Если это не ностальгия, а у меня нет - то слабенько

good
musibc is great and addictive on earbuds
As someone who never played the original Homeworlds, or had even heard of them before playing this game, I was hugely impressed with this remaster! I loved the story, even if it lacked some of those character dynamics of other signature RTSs of the time like StarCraft or Company of Heroes (another Relic game). Its gritty, captivating, awe inspiring, and makes you appreciate what Higgara means. I think the game does this so well not because it has fancy animations, or because it has well defined characters like Jim Raynor or Sarah Kerrigan, it does this by expressing the survival of a civilization in the voice and the superstructure you control, paired with melancholic music, dramatic art and massive space battles. Altogether, it helps the player understand this: you're entire civilization united around you, make it count. The second game is also fun, although I don't recall the story as well, so I would really consider it an extra add-on to the first whose story I think makes this remaster worthwhile. Bonus: the use of Agnus Dei for the reveal and the follow on story gives massive goosebumps. I still listen to it, and its string suite Adagio and think about this game.
Un classique , en remastered il est pas moche. Le gameplay est toujours sympa. Un bon rts
great game I love pretty much everything about it and I love the salvage ships
