Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 26 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

good

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

It is your basic shoot 'em up on a distant planet against aliens. It is land-based rather than the space-based games in earlier games of the series. Tactical combat with a variety of vehicles. It does not really engage me, but I will still give it a positive review. 60/100
If you loved Homeworld, you need to play this for the sake of completeness. It's not the same, but enjoyable none the less. You cannot skip the cut scenes, but it is building the story.
Played through the campaign twice, had a blast. Small complain is unskippable cutscenes, but it's an atmospheric game, the visuals and music are awesome so it's fine. A great prequel to the Homeworld series, and fortunately this one was not fumbled like HW3 ended up being, which is nice. I probably have listened to the soundtrack a hundred times over the last 10 years. I really recommend this game, both for people who never played Homeworld (this is the earliest title chronologically, and the least overwhelming since it happens on a mostly 2D plane like regular RTS games) and for people who loved HW1, HW2 and Cataclysm and want more.
할인할 때 사면 5400원으로 홈월드 향수 느낄 수 있음. 홈월드3는 잊으셈;;
I beat this game a lot faster than I expected and it was a very fun experience. Pincer maneuvers seem to be the best strategy to win and it's very easy and fast to replenish lost units to keep up with the breakneck speed of the action. Having airstrikes available at will is definitely awesome and in keeping with class HW action of deploying fighters to provide support to the larger units in your fleet. This game runs well on my rig even though I can't make any changes due to the low specs. I received this game from my best friend as a gift as we used to play classic HW and HW Cataclysm back in high school.
