Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 24 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I really enjoyed this game. I don't understand what all the negativity is about. I've played all the Homeworld games multiple times and, sure, maybe this isn't the best in the franchise, but it's worth a play. Wait for a Steam sale and pick it up.
After 7 hours of trying, I'm yet to use choke points strategically, use tunnels to bypass or ambush , or use debris to mask an approach. It's all contrived and shows how very little the developer knows about real time strategy. Do not believe the 4th trailer. Kesura oasis gameplay trailer. It's fake gameplay. Homeworld 3 has zero gameplay unless you count "moba ability cooldown monitoring" as gameplay. A

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Okay, but just not my type of game I played this for about 3 hours in co-op with a friend. It actually started off okay, but in the end, this style of game is just not my thing. It is decent for what it is, but it failed to keep us hooked. I wouldn't really recommend it. Rating: 5/10

The game and story were great except it is way, and I mean WAY to short for a $60 game. 8-10 hours of campaign are you kidding me? Wont be spending anymore money on the Homeworld series if this is what we have to look forward to. If you can get it for $20-30 maybe but unless you want to beat the game in one sitting I would hold off
I really wanted to like this game. I loved Homeworld 2. While I think the atmosphere and ship design is great, it fails in two important ways. First, the story is awful. I don't know what they were thinking. It's so out of place in Homeworld. It's also just bad in its own right. But the major reason why I stopped playing and won't be back is the controls. Ships regularly ignore commands, or just do something else completely. Way/path-finding is unbelievably bad. I can tell ships to go to a waypoint and half of them will end up the other side of an structure for no apparent reason. They often like to take the scenic route. If I issue an attack command, some ships ignore it. Some fly in the wrong direction. If they're not in formation, the fast ships get obliterated. If they are in formation, they can take 60 seconds+ to orient before they even start moving. Then the long range ships won't engage until ALL ships are in range. Sometimes long range ships don't engage until they're ON TOP OF the target. No idea why. So you need basically need to micromanage every ship individually, which is only possible with 25% speed. I guess that's why they added this option - to overcome the major control issues. The control issues alone killed the experience for me. This isn't fun. It's worse because the maps are designed around object traversal. It only highlights how terrible it is. I don't remember if Homeworld 2 was this bad but I know I won't be completing this game. Which is a shame because I was a huge fan.
Horribly bad AI and ship pathfinding, orders you give simply auto-cancel 25% of the time and the 3D map is practically unusuable unlike previous iterations. Also the mission maps are super small and nothing more than just a backdrop most of the time, which lacks the feeling of expansiveness that the older titles had. I was thinking I could enjoy the gameplay and just skip the atrocious story cutscenes, but the gameplay itself is terrible, so nothing of value can be found here. Just play the older titles. I have already reached the penultimate mission and I can't be bothered to finish this garbage. Can't believe that there are people that were scammed into paying full price for this.
