Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 24 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

25 people playing homeworld 3 today 21/08/25. Single player finished in 6 hours. Thats it.
Beautiful game though it lacks a lot, good thing i bought whole collection for 12 euros. Wargames is nice though nobody plays this game multi is empty, AI for skirmish is broken and bad. Could use a polish, but i am not sure the devs still care.
These Homeworld games have the worst immersion ever in terms of storytelling. They're meant to be like some kind of aliens that are somewhere out in space and have had their homeworld become uninhabitable or something. But they're clearly just space Americans. They're the most American people. They're so American that it ruins any kind of immersion with the story. They didn't even try to make them seem alien in any way. Literally just space Americans
I don't know what can be said that hasn't been said a thousand times already. The story is just.. blaaah. Technically the game works fine apart from my ships just sometimes stopping mid-fight, sometimes getting stuck on structures or just spazzing out. Also target prioritization seems off at times, but at least the game looks great. Tried Wargames, didn't like, so DLC pointless. Oh, and by Sands and Sinners (lol) would someone please shut Intel up? I had to turn down the speech volume at points because the dude just will not let me gather resources in peace. I CAN READ THE OBJECTIVES ON THE SCREEN, I KNOW I'M SUPPOSED TO CAPTURE THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ THING! You know what I think would've been nice? A homeworld game where you play as a new faction. Maybe like some sort of turanic raider -esque scavenger people where maybe you need to navigate around the Hiigaran empire and the various Kiith within. Maybe you do odd jobs for some of them, maybe fight and raid others. Maybe you end up trading with or buying tech from some desperate Taidaan remnants. Maybe you discover something ancient and valuable and/or dangerous while you're doing your thing and need to deal with it. You know, something akin to Cataclysm. If they really wanted to go out of their way they could've taken pointers from Electron (or even just HW2) and let you customise your capital ships with various weapons and other modules. Oh well, maybe next time.
How to throw away a franchise in 1 step. This is incredible, I already knew from all the reviews and even though I only payed 3€ for the key I still feel ripped off. While they should have never attempted to introduce a new control scheme, the Fleet AI feels like it got stupider, the Multiplayer is dead and dont get me started on what they call "Story". They had the opportunity to do something great but instead threw it all out the window
Got milked for cash then they left lmao do not buy
战役比我的鸡儿还短 单位比我的头发还少 人物比我的奶奶还丑 也就没啥游戏玩的了 在买来玩吧 巧克力味的屎 实在饿得不行了 就吃吧
i cannot recommend this game, i loved all previous homeworld games (yes even that one) however this game unfortunately was abandoned shortly after release, that is all, cannot recommend an abandoned game
