It's a great puzzle platformer with lots of content. The game is very well designed. Each level is just a tiny bit more challenging than the last which creates a very smooth difficulty curve and satisfying game flow.
I loved this game. Very addictive and with extremely fun mechanics. Very excited for future games!!

It's fun to play, and I enjoy thinking about the different gravity directions and how to get through the levels. I'm not great at arcade action, so it's nice that the control here isn't overly demanding, at least not in the levels I've played so far.
No me gusto mucho, pero por que a mi no me gusto no pienso darle mala review. Mi review: https://youtu.be/0DLYbpT3HDM
Very fun mouse game! The last ~1/6th of the levels have a decent amount of precision platforming, so watch out.
A fun mouse game (that's mouse as in house mouse, not computer mouse) that gives your brain a workout as you make your way through the gravity well! Grab it if you can!
Gostei da ideia de girar a tela para trabalhar a gravidade de diferentes maneiras, teve alguns niveis que foram bem desafiadores.
HomeNaut, developed and published by Origami Sword, is a compact yet thoughtfully designed puzzle-platformer that revolves around gravity manipulation and spatial reasoning. Framed around a small mouse adventurer navigating oversized household environments, the game combines charming pixel-art visuals with tightly constructed levels that steadily increase in complexity. While its premise is simple—a tiny explorer journeying through intricate interiors toward a whimsical goal—the mechanics beneath that premise create a surprisingly layered and mentally engaging experience. The defining feature of HomeNaut is its gravity-shifting mechanic. Rather than limiting players to traditional left-to-right platforming, the game allows the protagonist to alter the direction of gravity, effectively transforming floors into walls and ceilings into pathways. This mechanic fundamentally reshapes how players perceive each level. What initially appears to be an unreachable ledge may become accessible through a carefully timed gravity flip, and hazards that once blocked progress may suddenly be avoidable. The result is a puzzle-driven experience where spatial awareness and experimentation are more important than reflex speed alone. Level design plays a central role in making this mechanic compelling. Each stage is self-contained and deliberately crafted, gradually introducing new configurations and environmental challenges. Early levels focus on teaching the basics of gravity manipulation, allowing players to experiment without overwhelming pressure. As the game progresses, the layouts become more intricate, requiring precise timing, careful positioning, and forward planning. Some stages introduce layered obstacles that demand multiple gravity shifts in quick succession, testing both logical sequencing and execution. Despite the increasing complexity, the game avoids feeling unfair, maintaining a steady difficulty curve that rewards patience and observation. Visually, HomeNaut embraces a colorful pixel-art aesthetic that evokes classic platformers while maintaining its own identity. The environments are clean and readable, with strong contrasts that help players quickly distinguish platforms, hazards, and interactive elements. The scale of the world—ordinary household spaces rendered enormous from the mouse’s perspective—adds charm and personality to each setting. The protagonist’s small size reinforces the sense of exploration and vulnerability, making each successfully navigated obstacle feel significant. The art style remains consistent throughout, focusing on clarity rather than excess detail. The audio design supports the game’s measured pacing. Background music is subtle and unobtrusive, allowing players to concentrate on solving puzzles without distraction. Sound effects provide clear feedback when gravity shifts occur or when hazards are triggered, reinforcing the mechanical precision of the experience. While the soundtrack may not be particularly memorable, it complements the calm yet focused tone of the gameplay. HomeNaut’s structure is entirely single-player, emphasizing deliberate problem-solving over competitive elements. Collectibles scattered throughout levels encourage exploration and offer additional challenges for completionists. These optional objectives add replay value for players who want to master each stage fully rather than simply reach the exit. However, the game remains modest in scope; once the full set of levels is completed and secrets uncovered, there are limited incentives for extended replay beyond personal challenges such as speedrunning. One of HomeNaut’s strengths lies in its clarity of design. The control scheme is simple, responsive, and intuitive, allowing players to focus on spatial reasoning rather than complex input combinations. The gravity mechanic, though conceptually powerful, is easy to understand and consistently applied across levels. This consistency helps prevent confusion and makes each new challenge feel like a logical extension of previous lessons rather than an abrupt spike in difficulty. Ultimately, HomeNaut succeeds as a focused puzzle-platformer built around a single well-executed idea. Its gravity manipulation system, carefully constructed stages, and charming pixel-art presentation combine to create an experience that is both accessible and mentally stimulating. While it does not offer a sprawling narrative or expansive open-world exploration, it delivers a cohesive and polished journey that rewards thoughtful experimentation. For players who appreciate compact indie titles centered on clever mechanics and deliberate level design, HomeNaut provides a satisfying and memorable adventure. Rating: 6/10
