Reviews
DLC cost more than the base game
This game needs a few variant rules to not play a number of rounds but to play to a number of points. Rounds make it trivially easy to win any given match: if you're winning in the third round and you have a 1 point hand, why would you bother risking it? There is so little content for this game, I don't think I would recommend it. I'm not a huge HoloLive fan-- much more of a hanafuda fan, but this game is pretty barebones. four characters, and if you want to bring that to ten, you need to pay double for the game. Hanafuda is pretty fun, but you're paying a lot of money for a game you can get for free as a mobile app and on top of that, I couldn't get into a multiplayer game, so maybe it's already dead after six months. If you're a big hololive fan and want to hear like the same five voice lines again and again, go for it. Otherwise, give it a miss.
Cover letting this game die bruh
Its pretty fun, but could use some QOL. I would like to see options to auto draw after the turn, instead of hitting space. I would also like a zoom function in the gallery, mostly for the hanafuda cards to look at the art in detail.
I first thought it would be too expensive for a card game, but turns out- it's worth it. Of course, if your oshi is in the game, it would be even more enjoyable for you. But just simply talking about the quality of the game, it is already very well. The game play of hanafuda is very polished, and whether or not you are familiar with hanafuda, you can still play it easily. It also have a few variation of hanafuda, which are really interesting and addicting And the game is well-animated, the animation are very smooth. One thing that can be improved is that the story mode can be too boring sometime... Since many of time in story mode are just playing hanafuda. But the game is still, overall, a well made and a very interesting game!
