Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world action RPG set in the world first introduced in the Harry Potter books. Embark on a journey through familiar and new locations as you explore and discover magical beasts, customize your character and craft potions, master spell casting, upgrade talents and become the wizard you want to be.
Experience Hogwarts in the 1800s. Your character is a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart. Make allies, battle Dark wizards, and ultimately decide the fate of the wizarding world. Your legacy is what you make of it. Live the Unwritten.

A great Harry Potter game, a lot of nostalgic wish fulfilment, fun to play, amazing to explore Hogwarts in such detail. Always could say that it could have had more to it, but really, it's already the best Harry Potter game that has been produced thus far.

Still has lots of bugs but worth the hassle. Performance is not very well optimized either.

People that disliked it were prob expecting a different game. To me its a great game that you can roam around the amazing Hogwarts school with a decent story. Only thing you have to keep in mind (if on windows) is windows updates can make this game laggy if you havent played for awhile. You can look up how to fix it easily but doing the "Exploit Protection" settings stuff. which is very simple to do, only a few clicks. But its dum how we have to do that.... Btw you dont need to worry about that on steam deck, itll work fine no mattter what. Great fun open world tho.
