This is not a game without faults, but overall it was a very fun experience that I would recommend. If you're going into this for the story, you may be disappointed; I found the dialogue to be pretty low quality and borderline cringe at times. But the game makes up for it with an extensive world to explore, generally good combat, and many surprising features to find along the way. Definitely worth grabbing during a sale. (and it goes on sale fairly often!) Be warned! I encountered a technical glitch OFTEN while playing this game. This game does have an optimization issue for clearing VRAM, which causes the game to start flickering after about 1.5-2 hours into a gaming session. VERY frustrating, lowering the graphics did NOT help, and this problem only gets worse the further you get into the game. HOWEVER, if you can bear with this, it's still a fun game to play. But developers, PLEASE fix this!
很多任务根本没有驱动力去做,玩久了感觉重复度太高,虽然刚开始时对于魔法的演出还是感到挺震撼的,但我实在没有玩下去的欲望

有意思的魔法世界
Finally got my Hogwarts letter / Por fin llegó mi carta de Hogwarts Review: If you ever grew up waiting for an owl that never arrived, this is the cure. Absolutely immersive, even if you just end up spending hours decorating your Room of Requirement. Tip: Don't rush the main story! Explore every corner of the castle; the best details are hidden in the paintings. Consejo: Tómate tu tiempo con la historia principal. Explora cada rincón del castillo; los mejores detalles están ocultos en los cuadros. 10/10 - Would get sorted into Slytherin (or Gryffindor) again.

MUITO OM
Hogwarts Legacy
As a massive Harry Potter fan since I was a kid, jumping into this game for the first time was an absolute dream. Even though my first playthrough was on a much worse PC back when it launched, the sheer magic of exploring the world of this game kept me completely hooked. However, now that the initial hype has settled and I've put serious hours into it, my thoughts are a bit more grounded.
Positives
The game offers an incredibly detailed and massive recreation of Hogwarts and the surrounding highlands. It feels like the ultimate realization of what fans have wanted for years, completely packed with secrets, landmarks, and collectibles to track down. The magic system is another high point, featuring a diverse and rewarding combat loop. Fights stay engaging because you constantly unlock new spells that naturally expand your combos and tactical options as you progress. On top of that, the progression loops feel meaningful, making you actually feel like a student growing into a powerful wizard. You unlock tools that dynamically grant access to earlier locked regions, which pairs nicely with excellent gear customization and a customizable Room of Requirement. Finally, the cast of side characters is surprisingly well realized. Most companions have interesting backstories and unique personalities, and the narrative writing for their specific questlines is actually solid (e.g. Sebastian's lore).
Negatives
The biggest issue is the massive amount of open-world filler. The map is crowded with repetitive tasks that quickly become tedious chores, which ruins the pacing for anyone trying to clear all the side content. Combat balance also completely breaks down by the late game. Healing items, combat potions, and the dark arts are so absurdly overtuned that they remove all challenge from major encounters, especially once you upgrade your talents. This balance issue is made worse by the lack of mechanical variety in boss fights. Most unique targets and named foes are just standard enemy types with inflated health bars rather than bosses with distinct phases or mechanics. There are also glaring lore breaks that hurt immersion. You can openly cast unforgivable curses in front of classmates and professors during main missions, and the world just completely ignores it. To wrap it up, the main story ends on a flat note. The conclusion fails to acknowledge the weight of your choices or show how your journey impacted your friends after the credits roll.
Bugs & Performance
I noticed heavy stuttering and frame drops inside the castle when moving between loading zones and walking through specific corridors, no matter what graphics settings I used. I also ran into a frustrating progression glitch, likely tied to Steam. Despite hitting 100% completion on my main save, a handful of achievements refused to unlock until I rebooted the application over a dozen times and spent a few hours troubleshooting. They all just triggered randomly at the exact same moment.
Content & Replay Value
My playthroughs clocked in at roughly 90 hours on Hard difficulty, which included taking my time to hunt down around 90% of the hidden collectibles and finishing the optional storylines. Because the narrative path and choices are completely linear, there is almost no replay value here unless you are strictly trying to clean up missed achievements.
Verdict: Good
This is easily the finest title ever created for the Harry Potter universe, but it falls short of being a true masterpiece. While long-time fans will definitely find plenty to love, the experience is weighed down by generic open-world design and technical flaws. Is it worth buying? Yes, it is a great experience for fans of the franchise, but I highly recommend grabbing it on a sale. Overall it's a 7.5/10
The best game in Hogwarts.
