Se parece en la tematica a death must die. Super shooter y es bastante bueno. mi review: https://youtu.be/Mi5Qm9uY7uY
NOPE. Getting a refund since it's not even worth the tree-fiddy if I won't ever play it again. I'm generally not a fan of survivor-likes, but e.g. Halls of Torment is fun. This game is not. • Where is the epic Doom music from the trailer?!? The game just has an electronic soundtrack that's baiscally 1 repeating melody which gets annoying after 10 minutes. • slooow movement • slooow meta progression • no really interesting upgrades and pick-ups • Hives and elite enemies are ultra bullet sponges – during my first run, it felt like I was kiting the Crusher for an hour to finish the run without getting any meaningful upgrades while doing so.
Such a good rouge like game with awesome pixel art animation and so many different weapons and tools to help you survive. Highly recommend for anyone who likes games like risk of rain 2 and vampire survivor, with that old school retro pixel art!
7/10 solid bullet heaven game with cool retro aesthetic but feels a bit lacking in content.
What a fun game! The unlocks are cool, the maps are varied, the waves are balanced and challenging. Highly recommend this game!
i discovered this game on itch io when i was in school and it was the only game i would play on the computers and when i found it on steam i bought it immediately it is just as fun as i remember
Extremely grindy, yet a great selection of characters, maps (4), passives, and enough weapons perhaps make up for it, ironically. Aye, enough weaps, since the selection of different weaponry is severely limited. Could use more arms, for example, different grenades, lower-tier ammo types. Guns and utility types, there are a few of them; what about grenades, though? And it is a capitalist take on vamp survivors genre = during your runs, main upgrades are not free, you pay for them...
세일 할때 샀는데 그럭저럭 재밌네요
I hate to give this a negative because it could be much better with some tweaks. These games have to be super tight to compete in this genre. First there are simple bugs: -You can jetpack while moving diagonally up, but not diagonally down. -Some guns float just north of you (not like above you in the Z axis) and therefore cannot fire if you have a wall north of you. Then there are design frustrations: -Bugs can shoot and fly over walls, but I can't even shoot over halfwalls, so if I'm being followed while "vaulting" I won't even target them. -Upgrades are handled weirdly - I can spend half a run failing to play a matching game for a certain weapon, but then randomly just find something way better by dumb luck. Or switch from poison to a cryo weapon seconds before the boss only to find that cryo doesn't work on bosses (Why?) -Leveling feels underwhelming - "Wow 5% faster grenade rate when I'm jumping..." C'mon. Then bad art choices: -The UI popups are simultaneously way too big and constantly getting in the way, but also silent so I won't even know a mission has popped up because I have to ignore a bunch floating text about a useless upgrade I got last wave. -Everything is glowing. The enemies, the ground drops, my projectiles, the enemy's projectiles, the UI, inert decorations in the background, water hazards, little computers on the wall that may or may not even come into play at all, etc etc. When really only things that are dangerous or beneficial should really glow. Tweak this and it could be great and get a thumbs up.
I came to this game without having much (or any) hours into the original Hive Jump, even though I was aware of the game, the game art, and the general concept of "squash the bugs with guns and stuff in crunchy pixels". Most of my experience in the survivor genre of games before playing this title is from Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, where I had a lot of experience in the DRG universe before playing the game. It took me a run or three to familiarize myself with the weapons, enemies, and objectives. I wouldn't mind a tutorial or two about some of the little stuff, like the little arrow under your character pointing to the current objective. I certainly played a few rounds in joyful ignorance of some of the ways the game was trying to help me. Like many survivor-type games, the first few runs are the worst few runs. If you can make it through those and start getting into the upgrade tree, things really start to come together. I will admit that it took me a little while to figure out how to access some upgrades and new types of jumpers, which certainly slowed down my progress. If you're not making any progress, see if there are any achievements that can open up new parts of the game for you. I will say that the jump mechanic is pretty awesome. It's fun to float over enemies that would hurt you in similar games. About the different arenas: I didn't realize that LB and RB on my controller would let me choose different arenas until I was like 10-15 runs into the game, so I'm more comfortable with the layout of the default map, but once I discovered that there were other options, I did enjoy trying those out. About different builds- it seems like gun-centered builds perform better than grenade or utility heavy builds. However, there are certainly valid ways to win with those, as well. I wish that there was a way for the game to see that I don't have any grenades so that I don't get three upgrades based on increasing my grenade stats. It's entirely possible that there are some mechanics that help with that, but I didn't really get any tutorials about how that would work. A wish: I wish I could highlight a currently selected weapon and see what bonuses that I have affect that weapon, and what the selected bonus would affect what I have in my slots. For example, I don't know if area of effect bonuses have any affect on guns. Personally, I play the game with no music but keep sound effects on and play lofi in the background on my computer. I find it to be a more meditative experience that way. Generally, this game is a great deal, and a good time. Give it a try!
