Hidden Investigation: Who did it?

You collect stars to advance the game. You end up running the same HOG page with names, silhouettes, other names, mixed letters in names, etc to get the stars. You have to get five stars to "complete" that page and each run through gets you part of a star. One of the items on the page is evidence which you can use to open up an additional page. You end up repeating the same page many times though. It just seemed really redundant period. You open up a new area, get some text, and then have to repeat a different HOG many times. It may have lots of pages, but having to do each one several times is pretty bad. The game text is just a large plain font which means to me that the author didn't bother to pick something or the game is more intended for younger people which it can't be because it is violent. I bought it on a discount and wondered why there were no reviews before. Here is mine...

[h1] Genre [/h1] Ein Hidden Object Adventure [h1] Story [/h1] Wir spielen eine Polizistin und sollen mehrere Einzelne Fälle lösen die irgendwie zusammenhängen [h1] Gameplay [/h1] Das Spiel ist in mehrere Episoden unterteilt und jede Episode hat mehrere Hidden Object Szenen. Es spielt sich nicht so wie andere Spiele dieser Art sondern man muss Sterne sammeln um überhaupt weiter zu kommen. Jede HoG Szene bringt uns bis zu 5 Sterne. Dies bedeutet man muss die selbe Szene immer und immer wieder spielen bis man die 5 Sterne zusammen hat. Es gibt nur leichte Unterschiede, mal werden unten Wörter angezeigt, mal nur die Silhouetten der Gegenstände und dann werden die Wörter bzw. die einzelnen Buchstaben der Wörter durchgemischt und man muss erst einmal raten was man sucht. Bei der Vierten Methode muss man immer 12 bestimmte Gegenstände suchen wie z.B. 12 Schrauben oder Blätter usw. Dies macht das ganze Spiel total nervig & eintönig weil man ungefähr 10-15 mal nacheinander immer die selbe Szene spielen muss und das zieht sich durchs ganze Spiel so durch. Jeder Story Schritt kostet 1 oder 2 Sterne. Sowas erwartet man bei Facebook Spielen dieser Art aber doch nicht hier. Ich hatte es mir deutlich besser vorgestellt. Die Grafik ist völlig ok und die Musik ist passend [h1] Pro/Contra [/h1] + Grafik ist OK + Die Wimmelbildszenen an sich sind ganz ordentlich +/- Leider keine Achievements - Das Sternensystem ist einfach nur nervig - Man muss die selbe Szene immer und immer wieder spielen um Sterne zu verdienen was das ganze Spiel über so weiter geht - Die Story wird nur in ganz kurzen Sätzen weiter geführt [h1] Fazit [/h1] Ich hatte mir ein schönes Murder Mystery Hidden Object Adventure erhofft und wurde total enttäuscht. Das Gameplay ist eintönig und nervt nach kurzer Zeit und die Story wird nur in kurzen Sätzen weiter geführt. Dieses Sternensystem ist einfach nur Langweilig und Eintönig, sowas erwartet man bei einem Browser Spiel aber nicht hier. Extremely tedious. The game pads itself out by forcing you to play the same hidden object scenes over and over. You end up running the same scene 10 or more times in a row to get enough stars to advance through the story to the next scene, where you have to do the same thing again. Graphics are good enough, but the story is barely there and poorly told. This is simply not worth your time.

super boring game. this game forces you to do the same level over and over again to collect stars, which you need to advance the story. the items dont even change location so after the first time running through it you already know where the POIs are

It's the same thing over and over. Paid $20 for the bundle. What a waste. Was bored stiff after the first one (that I finished in about an hour). Did a couple minutes of the second and was insulted that the sequel wasn't any better. If I would have paid full price I'd really be peeved!

Konieczność wielokrotnego przechodzenia tej samej planszy, żeby zdobyć gwiazdki, które umożliwiają pchanie gry naprzód to bardzo zły pomysł. Może kiedyś to się sprawdzało, ale teraz bardzo odrzuca, na pewno nie skuszę się na kolejne gry z tej serii.

Interesting take on the hidden object genre. There are multiple location you need to search but you must search them multiple times to complete an area. Some are just straight find the hidden named objects, some are find the object shown in silhouette, and some are find the object shown in a scrambled word. The final hidden object "game" is they add 12 objects to the scene, think poker chips in the Casino. You need to find those as fast as you can. During the repitition of each scene you need to do the 12 hidden object find 3 or 4 times. Little bit repetitive. The hidden object scenarios have clues periodically to the crime you are trying to solve, think torn up paper, shell casings, finger print, etc. These are really easy to solve but must be done to go forward.

S'il y avait une rubrique "positif mais peux mieux faire" je l'aurais choisie car c'est mon ressenti par rapport à ce jeu. Concrètement, c'est un jeu d'objets cachés dans un univers d'enquête policière. Les + : - pas de course après la montre - pas de bugs à ma connaissance - les sauvegardes se font automatiquement - la compréhension et la prise en main est fluide (même si le jeu est en anglais et non traduit) - les graphismes sont agréables et certains éléments sont animés - en plus des objets cachés à révéler, il y a des mini jeux relatifs à l'enquête - si vous êtes bloqué et que vous ne trouvez pas l'objet caché en question, deux aides sont à votre disposition une fois celles ci "chargées" (selon laquelle choisie vous progresserez plus vite) - Une barre de progression s'affiche parfois tout en haut celle-ci vous permet de multiplier vos points jusqu'à 5X et ce à chaque objet trouvé pendant cette courte apparition de la barre ce qui vous permet de progresser encore plus vite Les - : - Pour certains la non traduction de l'anglais pourrait être un point négatif sachant que le jeu peut abréger certains termes d'objets cachés et rendre la compréhension de ceux ci plus compliquée - le jeu est linéaire - Pour avancer dans l'enquête et résoudre chaque scène d'investigation, il vous faudra atteindre TOUTES les étoiles jusqu'au bout sur base des points gagnés. - Les objets cachés peuvent s'avérer répétitif à long terme, je m'explique dans une scène de crime on vous demandera de chercher des objets cachés (les mêmes à plusieurs reprises qui n'auront aucun lien avec l'enquête) sur base de leur ombres, d'une liste donnée, en long et en large et ainsi de suite jusqu'à ce que toutes vos étoiles soient complétées. J'aurais préféré un peu plus de lien direct entre les objets cachés à trouver et l'enquête en cours hors un seul élément clé face à tout ces objets inutiles ressort pour l'enquête c'est vraiment très peu (vous le distinguez une fois le clic dessus et que l'enquêtrice sort son appareil photo pour le mettre en évidence) le reste est une façon de vous faire perdre du temps, pour allonger le jeu avec un tas d'objets aussi inutiles que répétitifs et qui n'apporte absolument aucun intérêt à la progression de l'histoire du coup cela ne m'a pas donné envie de continuer, c'est vraiment dommage. En conclusion, ce jeu a du potentiel mais il mériterait quelques améliorations pour le rendre moins linéaire et permettre une intrigue plus intéressante, motivante et une attribution d'étoiles ou de points en fonction de notre capacité à dénicher des indices plus complexe, trouver les objets cachés en lien direct avec l'enquête et pouvoir les mettre en relation entre eux afin de progresser dans l'histoire en cours. Je modifierais peut être mon évaluation en "positive" si le jeu amène une mise à jour concernant les points cités plus haut. A suivre...

Ich wurde dieses Spiel als neutral bewerten, Da es wirklich eine Nette Grafik hat und die Orte/ Szenen nett anzusehen waren. Leider muss man sich immer wieder Sterne erarbeiten und die Szene je nach dem wie Vit man ist die Objekte zu finden, mehrmals durchspielen. Jedes Gespräch kostet Sterne jedes Rätsel kostet Sterne. Die Rätsel sind immer die Gleichen und wenig anspruchsvoll. Naja, wer hier nicht so viel erwartet kann es sich kaufen, wenn man gerade nichts anderes hat...

I think it would be more fun if the search areas rotated instead of keeping players stuck on the same one over and over until you get all of the stars. Overall, its a good game though for the price. I'd recommend it for anyone who wants a cheaper hidden objects game.
