Practically unplayable. Between ridiculous load times, lag, and crashes, I've barely made it past the tutorial and I'm very much done with the whole thing.
lol, these comments It wasn't buggy or unplayable (it did crash twice, but just launching it again starts you where you left off The ghost battles can be annoying, the puzzles aren't terrible The thing that is reeaallly annoying is the load it takes to go from room to room. There's no way to speed this up. Thank god there's fast travel, but even still it annoyingly slow All and all, not a bad time waster and it was very cheap on sale (less than a buck) If you can tolerate all that and you're a veteran of the HOP genre, it's fine
This game is hot garbage.
Wish there was a neutral recommendation. There is some fun puzzles here and the length was fine but there are just too many technical and other problems. There seems to be significant timing/control issues; primarily with the ghost motion control ones, but some others had problems also. Also the voice acting was not good, but I did like the art design and actual hidden object scenes, which were the "shape" variety. If you play this game, do yourself a favor and choose the easiest mode that allows skipping.
The story isn't bad but the gameplay really is. The loading times between EVERY SINGLE ROOM AND PUZZLE are ridiculous. Most of the "puzzles" are really just time wasters or reflex testers. The game also tends to crash a lot. It's too bad because because the story seemed fun and the art wasn't bad. The voice acting was terrible though. Just don't voice it if you can't hire good VA please.
I’m standing up applauding whoever it is that came up with and designed those puzzles, as those were the best all round perfect level of hardness and fun. There are no achs related to skipping puzzles or hints so if you don’t like one there is no penalty in skipping it.
it's sadly still unplayable, lagging and crashing - even on a 2023 setup. it's not your rig, it's the game. Don't use waste your money.
