Hidden Fears (Moonlight Edition)

This game is so slow it's unplayable - and the ghost combat "feature" is glitchy and extremely frustrating. I'd give this game a miss.

What the actually laggy and buggy hell?! This game takes a while to load. I managed to hum another game's intro music by the time it started up... And that was AFTER crashing once! Then the lag. OH MY GOD THE LAG! Pick up item -> "5 years later" -> Here is your item. I thought that I acquired collectibles or something at first, and then realized you just have to sit there... Starring at the screen... Waiting........ No thanks... No, no thanks!!!

I am an avid fan of Hidden Object games - I was excited to check this out - however the load times are unbearable. The game is clunky and the voice acting is rough at best. The text reading moves very fast off screen if you are a streamer and trying to read it out loud voice acting style - its difficult. A lot of other HOGs I would check out before this one.

PROS: Average artwork. CONS: EVERY PUZZLE AND EVERY Hidden Object Scene. Worse CONS: The "BATTLES". This game is just full of "I wonder how bad we could piss off and frustrate the player with every single mechanic" Also, Horrible voice acting and terrible story, if you want to call it one. PLAY THIS GAME if you want to punish yourself because they should pay people to play this steaming pile of garbage. Один из представителей жанра "найди и нажми" в повествовательной манере да ещё и в хоррор атмосфере,что превращает Hidden Fears из игры в своего рода кино с интерактивными элементами(при желании их можно минимизировать).В общем, это игра ,которую можно посоветовать для тех,кто хочет потратить своё время ,на что-то не требующее изучение множества замысловатых механик,но при этом иметь возможность взаимодействовать с миром,в который предстоит погрузиться. Не часто приходится иметь дело с играми подобного жанра,однако именно эта игра предоставила мне интересный опыт.Хочется отметить,что не хватает русской локализации,хоть и мелочь,но было бы приятно.

Poor performance, poor controls, most of the time it's very linear. The story is crap too, but that's par for the course in this genre. If you're accustomed to the level of quality from Artifex Mundi, you will hate this.

Not playable due to horrible lag. I'll hang on to it rather than get a refund in case they release an optimization patch; the gameplay itself looks promising.

Das ist das erste Spiel, bei dem dauernd Ladeverzögerungen und -pausen auftreten - und das bei einem Wimmelbildspiel. Ich möchte nicht wissen, wie dies bei einem PC ist der nur die "empfohlenen Systemvoraussetzungen" hat oder gar nur die Mindestvoraussetzungen erfüllt. Da kommt dann vermutlich ein echter Gruseleffekt zustande. Kampfsequenzen in einem Wimmelbildspiel gehen ja absolut gar nicht. Deshalb absolute Abwertung. Nerviger Sound
