I went into this game incredibly frustrated with some of the design choices. I thought the main character was unlikeable, the combat felt unsatisfying, and I wasn't a fan of some of the mechanics. But by the end, the game had genuinely grown on me. The characters are incredibly well designed, the story has a ton of charm and heart, and the later levels are much better than the opening ones. It also doesn't overstay its welcome, which helps a lot. I'm glad I stuck with it.
Nice combat, nice music, nice game. The game reminds me of old era of video games.
Is good. Play it. Well, I mean, there's a few moments where I had some trouble keeping up the rhythm, and I swear the beat was off slightly and I needed to use the visualizer to get it on-beat. But it's mostly good and it's a really fun time.
