A fantasy world handcrafted before it became a game. A turn-based game where every hero and every enemy was first created as real cosplay costumes. Tactical decisions, humor in the spirit of Dungeon Keeper, and an atmosphere inspired by Heroes III.

About
You play as the Meat Company Commander, faced with a series of missions. You have five Veterans at your disposal, each with a different set of skills. Each completed mission grants you new abilities to deploy.
Turn-based combat against overwhelming numbers of Bunglings (enemies) allows for a variety of tactics. Friendly fire, magic potions, and interactive board elements add variety.
The entire action is set in a unique fantasy world, with stylized stop-motion animation and a story with a sense of humor. As the Meat Company Commander, how many veterans will you sacrifice to complete the mission? Or are you good enough to ensure everyone survives?

This game hits different! Got that addictive "one more turn" vibe that keeps pulling you back. I love the old-school feel mixed with that unique stop-motion style - it's like nothing else on Steam right now. Plus, the dialogue actually made me laugh out loud a few times (the voice acting is spot on). Pros: - simple to learn and engaging gameplay - interesting style - character design and stop-motion animation are absolutely awesome - funny dialogue and voiceover - nostalgic indie charm is real Cons: - some typos here and there - UI could use a bit of polish in places
I only played a little while. I think the game will appeal to a strategy puzzle players. I think this would be a good offering if it started about 7.99. I like the graphic style, but the voice clips need to be more varied. I would say 50-100 lines for every character. It got very grating after the first room. Also, I have no idea how long the game is and that may effect the price. Anyway, I like the idea and the graphics and gameplay are there. It's just not for me. Ps if there was a way to turn off characters dialog by individual, that would be a nice option. One of them, was the deal breaker for me continuing to play.
An ultimately addictive game (as all turn-based strategy games should be). The lines of the characters are extremely funny (at least I laughed quite a few times) and the abilities of the heroes are quite well balanced. It's got a few shortcomings, but it's expected of an indie game and they don't detract from the experience. So overall, a positive vote!
