Super fun and addictive, especially once you figure out how the weapon union system works.
Played all 3 Heroes of Loot Games. Gauntlet of Power is the best one in my opinion. It's very fun to play and extremely addicting. One of my favorite games so far this year. If you like pixel art and classic NES, Super NES style games definitely pick this up.
7/10
+操作简单非常容易上手,甚至可以说半自动 +游戏难度较低,前期较容易体会到爽感 -地图、敌人重复度太高 -构筑空间低下 -存在翻译不全的问题
Loving how this has adaptive difficulty based on your level; you might have max power and at level 77, but bosses are sponges and swift to kill.
One of the most pick-up-and-play games from Orange Pixel and a joy to play over and over. Traversing the map and visiting the different places to buy and rearrange break up the action in a great way, too. Nothing bogs down, either, so getting into the flow is easy. I'll be going back to this often for a quick fix. (Just want to shout out a thanks for the macOS native version. I think many Indie devs miss out when they don't release there, even if the percentage is small for now. The bar has raised for performance in macs, and with a game engine, it is not much extra work -- though I get the issues, sometimes just getting hands on mac hardware to build/test on. Apple is actively working on customer awareness of how capable their devices are for games, even.)
Wonder around pixel art dungeon to find new weapons, monsters and power-ups. So in this variation of dungeon crawler/vampier saviours you get to choose one of four races to play. At first only 2 are available to pick from the elf and his arrows or the mage with his staff and ability to stop the emery for a short period of time. The other two characters became available as you collect the tokens in the game. Which so far I've yet to collect all the tokens to unlock either of them. So kill the monster and collect the coins and gems that are dropped. This in turns gives you exp and once you fill all your exp for that level move onto the next. When you level up you get a change to pick one of the three abilities/weapon choices. Select one and the slot to put the weapon or add the ability to a weapon. Each slot is a one of the eight points of a compass and that is direction the weapon will fire. Hence a bit of strategy as to which direction do you want the weapon to fire or level the same type of weapon up or can you merge two weapon types together and create a new super weapon? You can also find keys to open chests or doors. At the end of the level you get to fight the boss. Defeat them and you move onto the next level. Some other things happen as well, but I'll leave you to find them. On a whole easy to pick up and put down game like Vampier Survivors or Space Invaders. Highly recommended Playing on Steam Deck with no issues.
Played this game for the first time last night and had a really good time. I like the idea of a dungeon crawler vampire survivor-like game. I think the game could use a little tuning. Some weapons seem really strong. But otherwise I had a great time, and I think it's worth the price.
Got old fast, all runs feel the same.
Its a cute game with a nice concept for weapon placement. It does get boring after awhile tho...
Good fun game, looks like there's lots to explore. Very happy with it, cheers
