Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 38/day in the week to Aug 25 → 45.57/day in the week after.
One market had a chart position on both sides of this cut. One sale in one country is an anecdote — read it next to the store-wide figures below.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

imagine having to pay extra for inventory slots.. oh.. yeah im gone. cya Let me point something out about dlcs. ♥♥♥♥ deal honestly. "Individual price of the 11 items you don't already have: 87,21€" all the dlcs combined should be $25 in total normally. Then be like 50% off during sale. for a total of $12.50 but nah. instead lets make it "unbuyable" all around the year. plus the quality of life addons shouldnt be fkn dlcs? Would you be okay if the dev one day removed the logout button during a patch and then tried selling it as expansion dlc?? i bet u would. Because you don't care the devs keep pushing it. In just a moment they will try selling audio settings, FPS-cap and the ability to even move your character at all.
The game has seriously huge potential, but currently it's just a bad ripoff of Diablo that's trying to copy POE at the same time. If only the devs of this game could come up with a single original idea and not go with the worst of the worst from both of it's BETTER BY FAR predecessors. These devs really should have gone to school given the issues this game has faced ever since it's inception. Like I said, huge potential, just bad/braindead developers and designers behind the scenes with zero ideas of their own and zero actual logic within the entire team. Would love to see them actually fix the network issues (IE: hire an actual network developer)

It's actually a decent game, but it is riddled with mtx and I can't ever give a thumbs up to a company that treats its players this way. It literally has tabs for you to purchase in the inventory so you have to stare at them while you play. Way too much "paid" clutter everywhere. I've also encountered quite a few bugs. I only bought this because it was heavily discounted.
This game is pretty addicting when it comes to numbers, loot and theory/build crafting. However, that's completely overshadowed by bad game design and excessive microtransactions. Early game, you have more leeway with testing out builds. Resetting skills and attributes are free and powerful satanic and mythic gear is easy to come by. These Items are easily upgradable and not too much of a commitment if you do spend upgrade materials on them due to how cheap and easy they are to obtain, and it's at this point where the game heavily encourages you to test everything out and see what fits and what doesn't. This all changes when you reach the endgame. By the endgame you'll need lots of upgrade materials to maximize your damage output. These upgrades can also brick/destroy your extremely rare and endgame gear. Once this happens, the only way to fix your gear is to use another item specifically made to fix the gear you just broke by trying to upgrade it, all of which are rare and expensive. The loot in this game is rare, and can be "fixed" with a stat called Magic Find, which is fine but there is such a thing as "too rare" to the point where even after a couple of hundred hours, you still wont get an angelic item with high magic find and it is heavily encouraged to just buy everything near the beginning of the season if you're playing online instead of outright grinding angelics and heroics. Frame optimization isn't the greatest for this game. The builds in this game can get crazy, but the game cant handle most of them and you will certainly feel the frame drops especially on multiplayer. Gold in season 9 was extremely inconsistent, with vendors being expensive and gold drops being scarce. The most reliable way to earn gold was to sell via market place or selling gear, and if you're going singleplayer and you don't have equipment specifically made for dropping gold, then good luck. The worst outlier of this game is the microtransactions. EVERYTHING needs to be bought. You need more inventory space? Fork up 4 dollars. Need some stash space? Another 4 dollars. Want a tab solely dedicated to materials and socketables? 5 dollars each. Wanna test out a build with a different Incarnation tree? 2 dollars. There's another tab in the stash tab called "Unique" which you have to pay 13 DOLLARS JUST TO USE. Classes also cost money, which, tbf, I WOULD give some benefit of the doubt to the extra classes being monetized, but those can range up to 10$ without any additional content, which is MORE THAN THE GAME ITSELF. Some classes also feel more broken than others, which then get nerfed the following season. TLDR: Game design is mediocre. Limited freedom to build/theory craft in endgame. You're best off looking up Youtube guides to avoid making expensive mistakes. Super duper rare items that you'll never get even after 100 hours. Excessive microtransactions, frame drops, broken classes that you pay for tend to get nerfed the next season, easy to brick/destroy rare gear, game is heavily auction house dependent. This game does NOT respect your time AT ALL.
Mid league nerfs, ♥♥♥♥ servers and performance, predatory dlcs
I played this game before it was popular -- greed has absolutely corrupted this game. Also forced items being permanently locked out for not grinding to hell and back ... I am deeply disappointed by this game.
Back in 2014 this was a very enjoyable game but every update just made it worse and worse. It doesn't even really resemble that original game. Literally just microtransactions for anything and everything including extra stash and inventory space.
HEADS UP BEFORE YOU BUY This is NOT a review bomb or a complaint because of the genre change. I just picked up the game a few days ago and started this season and think the game is pretty fun. I saw one of the paid classes that looked neat and thought why not, it’s $10, but the game was only 8 bucks, might as well support the devs. Today, I saw that the game is cross-platform and only like $5 on android and thought, “Hell yeah, gonna play this all day at work too!” However, when I installed it on my phone, signed into the same Hero Siege account that I had to make to play the game on PC, and got to the character select screen, my character said LOCKED. Huh? Surely this is just a sync issue, restart, nothing. Okay, maybe restarting my phone, the same thing. Let me look this up. Apparently, the only way I can play the character that I purchased the class for on PC, is to buy the class AGAIN on Google Play, even though it’s all linked to the same Hero Siege account. The developer’s FAQ points this issue out specifically and says the storefronts are the ones making honoring cross-platform purchases impossible. B*llshit. Look at Roblox, Fortnite, WARFRAME?!? Google’s rule only covers purchases made inside the app and says nothing about honoring one made somewhere else. So the wall isn’t Valve’s and it isn’t Google’s. It’s theirs. Selling stuff like characters per platform is a fair business decision. I think it’s stupid, greedy, and f*cking ret*rded personally, but the devs are within their rights as the makers of the game to do so. Just don’t f*cking lie to your players and tell them it’s all out of your hands when you do it. TLDR: If you plan to play the game on PC and mobile, budget for buying everything twice.
