What a cool concept for a mystery game! the only mechanic is to type out key words to gain access to more of the story, while piecing it together all on your own. It is incredibly rewarding to make your way through with little guards to fall back on.

Great game with an interesting story unfolding (I'm only a few hours in, and have not finished the game). Starting with very limited information, you use deductive reasoning to probe further and piece the story together through unlocked clips of taped interviews. It's challenging and fun to deduce effective queries that unlock more clips, and it's really rewarding when you discover a major revelation that moves the case forward. Looking forward to playing the rest of it and solving the mystery! :)

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I got this game on a whim, deciding that before I play Immortality that I should play what came before it. At time of writing I've yet to get all of the achievements for the game, but I think it was worth what I paid for! Things I liked: - The opening of the game is strong, and puts you right into the mystery. I was immediately intrigued. - A small but noteworthy thing is being able to turn the screen glare off — In my opinion, this makes the game a bit more immersive. - More of a personal thing, but this game greatly appeals to my particular sense of archival urges. I do archiving as a side-hobby(?)(I suppose hobby is the only word for it), and every time I got a bit further in completing the database after a lot of obvious words were eliminated I was absolutely giddy with delight. Made me feel like a bird collecting seeds off the ground. - The story itself is interesting, and even when you have most of the clips viewed, there's still something up in the air about the mystery. There's also some clever foreshadowing hidden somewhere obvious, which is a nice reward for player curiosity. Things I disliked: - There isn't a way to remove clips from the current session (at least not a way that I have found so far, if there is a way then disregard this point!). - After a while, maybe by hour three or so of gameplay, it becomes really difficult to find new segments. This isn't an inherently bad part of the gameplay, we do want games to be challenging, but it would eventually lean a bit more towards 'frustrating' rather than 'engaging'. - This is admittedly potentially a pedantic point, but in-universe the way the database works is really strange. I know, it's a game mechanic so it's ultimately for the purpose of creating a framework wherein to effectively tell the story, and if the database was easy to navigate then this wouldn't really be much of a game or much of a puzzle, but it's still a bit odd. (This isn't much of an outright dislike, more just kinda funny and weird thing you notice if you think about it for a second, like thinking about the traps in a Saw movie.) All-in-all, I found this to be an enjoyable experience!
FIVE STARS (SIX HOURS)
I found this entertaining and fun. It is very unique in the mystery genre and I'd love to see more like it.
