They can't even solve game save issues. Shame, really a shame!
This is a race to click things before time expires game. not my style of "management" at all. was really hoping for something along the form of bomber crew. very boring.
Lacking Content for the price point. Overall not buggy or anything game breaking but again lacking in the content area. I found game play to be very basic.

All in all I don't recommend it. Graphically, there's something very queer going on with the water, like a pixelated black shadow on the crests of the waves. It's visible in all of the store page screenshots and videos to some degree, but this one is the worst. It never goes away. The best you can do is to try not to look at the water, which is a bit awkward in a game about ships. The audio is repetitive. The voice effects wear out their welcome especially fast. Gameplay-wise, to begin with the first ship is a garbage scow but that's fine, gives people something to appreciate if they suffer through its faults long enough to get a better one. Later on you can direct other ships to handle the busywork of intercepting pirates and merchants and similar missions; click the ship on the map, click to where you want it to take care of something, forget about it for a while. You can build or capture forts, creating an area in which hostile ships take minor but constant damage. If one of your forts kills something you get a little boost. You can capture ports, denying them to the enemy and generally painting the map. Unfortunately, it just isn't much fun to do. Once you understand how the mechanics work it's not particularly challenging or enjoyable, just a matter of grinding your way to a win while periodically stepping on an opponent's flagship. From time to time, you get an event popup. Take care of it, get a bonus, ignore it or take too long, get a penalty. The line marked with a trophy is what happens if you do fulfil it. The line marked with the skull and swords is what happens if you don't. Spend a barrel of rum, get a crew morale boost, OR lose a barrel of rum, get ship damage and a morale loss. Most of the events are like this, which is to say that there is no strategy involved in them - you cannot, for example, ignore a gun-drill popup and accept the damage to crew discipline in order to save limited ammunition for an impending fight - you either spend the gunpowder on the drill, or it evaporates into the ether as a cosmic punishment. Try it, I suppose, but if you've got a new ship and started making forts and taking ports and you're still waiting for the 'real game', I'm afraid that's all there is to it.
This game does an excellent job of making you feel like the captain of a man-o-war. It is mostly a resource management game, with more than a passing similarity to euro-style board games. The fast pace generates regular tension as you make difficult decisions about balancing resources and choosing where to engage your ship. Moreover as a fan of age of sail books, I love how it captures the feeling of all the different parts of a ship working together as one machine. The designer has focused on this aspect alone, so don't expect much in the way of tactical combat, tacking etc. It's a bit of a pity, but it doesn't spoil the fun. Personally I think it's a refreshing take on age of sail games. It is quite a short game and I doubt there is much replay value once you have beaten it (I haven't, but I'm getting closer). Nevertheless the experience is sufficiently unique and enjoyable that I recommend it. Strangely, when I first played it I thought it was awful. I agreed with most of the negative reviews. Yes, during the first hour it feels like a click-fest with no real decisions. It's only once the systems start to make sense that the game reveals itself, and it is deeper than it first looks. Don't listen to the negative reviews by people with less than an hour's play.
I love this game but i dont recomend theres no players to play with, theres a little bugs, its good to pass time in single players if you dont have nothing better to do... Unfortanly this game come to steam but it was quick to players to leave. I bough this game today hopping that the Creators will do something about it to call for players once again and i can spend time in single players even it doesnt have any player for a long century... I love the game so you will have my support that why I bought...
just a crappy mobile game...nur ein lausiges mobile game....
Очередная недоделка.
This game does not suck. People are saying its a mobile game because its point and click and managing tasks. I disagree, you need to manage your resources, your crew, your ship events all while completing the task in the allotted time while trying to handle the day to day ship random events. Maybe its better to ignore a ship task and take a penalty to morale if it means having more crew active, or maybe the longer route is better than the short one because pirates might kill your crew if you get into an engagement. I really enjoy this game because it's unpredictable and a lot of fun to compete with friends to make it to admiral. It really is worth the price. At the end of the day it's all about your choices as you captain your own ship.
