I was a very keen user of the original version of premium pool and rewared by a free release of this paid version but find it very disappointing! The original Premium pool was a level playing field but this release is very distorted. I assume that this distortion becomes apparent to newcomers and they loose interest because there are generally very few online players to play against. The game is easier for those who have aquired the better cues that can be purchased for real cash or slowly earned by winning tokens - but this is impossible to do against players equipt with the better cues. A dozen or more regular players seem to have been given or have purchased (at over $40) the best "Shadow" cue which not only makes the game easier for those weilding it but also seems to have a spoiling effect on opponents making them miss shots that they would usually make. The only way to build a stable base of followers will be to provide a level playing field and undistorted. Make the advantages in cues mainly decorative but with very slight improvement in capabilities but certainly no reverse magic against opponents.

Nice simple game play which can be played with game pad or mouse and keyboard. I prefered using keyboad and mouse (arrow keys to fine tune aim). Changing tables, crate drops, game stats (win rate/accuracry etc), daily/weekly challenges for rewards, tournaments, player leveling. Online or offline game play, online game was smooth with no lag even while playing Cpt Froggy on the other side of the world (UK/Australia). Only downside with online play is there doesn't seem to be many players about which is a shame. Offline you can play against the AI, Local Muliplayer or Speed (clear the table as fast as you can). There are microtransactions in which you can buy more coins and tokens for different cues/balls but these can be gained through wins/rewards or crate drops. My second crate which dropped gave me a rare cue (4,500/5000 coins worth) which was nice. Overall it's not a bad fun little game, I certainly enjoyed it.

So nun nach mehr als 30 Stunden INGAME Zeit, überarbeite ich mal meine Review und spreche offen alle Vor- und Nachteile an. Beginnen wir erstmal mit meinem persönlichen Gesamteindruck. Ich habe lange Zeit auf ein einfaches und schlichtes Billard Spiel gehofft, auf STEAM natürlich. Hier geht es wirklich nur darum drauf los zu spielen, Sachen freizuschalten und Ende. Um Mal einen Vergleich zu nennen wäre dort Poolnation welches versucht mit Grafik zu Punkten, was in meinen Augen einfach nicht nötig ist für ein nettes kleines Pool Game, und das 8 Ball Pool Flash Game, welches Handy basierend ist und deswegen Millarden von Quests, Features und sonstigen Dingen hat. Das sind für mich negativ Punkte in den anderen Spielen und sind hier sehr gut weggelassen. Hier spielt man einfach entspannt ein Paar Partien und hat seinen Spaß einfach am Billard spielen. Allerdings könnte einem der Spaß etwas geraubt werden wenn man sieht dass es Cue's gibt die besser sind als Andere. Doch ich persönlich sehe auch hier kein Problem, denn wenn man halbwegs mit Verstand spielt kann man recht schnell einen netten kleinen Cue holen. Gekauft werden diese Cues von der Ingamewährung, welche ihr durch Quests, Free Crates (jeden Tag eine) oder durchs gewinnen im Quick Play + Tournament erhalten könnt. Dieses Spiel bietet also sehr wohl und recht gut die Möglichkeit es ohne Kostenaufwand gut zu spielen. Denke dass ich selbst ein gutes Beispiel dafür bin, da ich bisher 320.000 Coins erspielt habe und der "beste und teuerste Cue" gerade mal 60.000 kostet. Von daher sollte es jedem klar sein, dass man in diesem Spiel kein Geld investieren muss um gut zu sein. Die Steuerung ist recht simpel, mit der Maus wird durch Linksklick halten gesteuert und durch Rechtsklick zurückziehen gestoßen. Diese Steuerung ist wirklich recht angenehm wobei ich in Zukunft auf eine Nutzung der Tasten A+D für ein noch genaueres Aiming hoffe. Ein Knackpunkt hat dieses Spiel allerdings, die Schwarze (8) muss nicht in das gegenüber liegende Loch gestoßen werden, wie die letzte Kugel. dies macht viele Abschlüsse leider recht einfach, ansonsten alles in Allem ein traumhaft angenehmes Spiel und vorallem für 1,50-2.00 kann man sich hier wohl nicht sehr beschweren. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ENGLISH (Google Translator) So now more than 30 hours of INGAME time, I re-examine my review and speak openly all the advantages and disadvantages. These cues are purchased from the Ingame currency, which you can get through Quests, Free Crates (every day one) or by winning in the Quick Play + Tournament. This game offers very well and quite well the possibility to play well without cost. Think that I am a good example, since I have so far get 320,000 coins and the "best and most expensive cue" costs just 60,000. Therefore, it should be clear to everyone that you do not have to invest money in this game to be good. Positives: If you're looking for a fun arcade style pool game that doesn't care too much about proper physics then this game is for you. The different cues remind me of RPG elements which is pretty interesting in a pool game. It revolves around leveling up, getting coins and tokens and just having a good time. It runs really well on pretty much any modern system. Even old potatos can probably run this game flawlessly. I didn't experience any bugs or glitches so far either. You can change the volume (or mute entirely) for the ingame music which I'm glad they added. The ranking system gives you something to work towards as you can "prestige" like in COD. Negatives: It seems way too focused on using a Xbox controller. I prefer mouse and keyboard for 2d-birds-eye-view pool games like this and there isn't much explanation as to what all of the controls are. The lack of different game modes also hurts the game. It needs more depth in that department. Currently the playerbase is small so it may be difficult to find a match online with other random players. Playing with friends on your Steam list doesn't even count as an actual online game which I think sucks. No stats count, no earnings, no random drops... nothing. There is also no way to chat with random players globally or even with your friends. You have to go into a steam group chat with a friend to talk and/or type while playing. That's very unfortunate. I feel like the community would be better, more active and an increased playerbase if people were at least able to communicate to each other while playing. Overall: For only 2 bucks you easily get what you pay for if this is your cup of tea. I still need more time playing to edit/update/revise my review but after about an hour and a half of playing this is what I gathered. Will update my review after playing it more.

Наверно единственным плюсом этого пула будет то, что он является одним из самых красивых пулов в стим. и все. Какое то дурное управление мышью, играть геймпадом в разы удобнее. Онлайна в игре тоже практически нет. Баланса нет..Зато есть куча доната. А донат тут на все. Столкнувшись с игроком задонатившим на "супер - кий " поражение тебе обеспечено. Игра с друзьями присутствует, но тут тоже свои минусы. Общаться с ними в игре возможности нет. увы. ну а так, это обычный пул, в который можно зайти вечерком и сыграть пару партий с другом онлайн или на одном устройстве. Покупать не советую, даже по скидке.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. This game is designed as an online game, but there is nobody else matchmaking, making most game progress stuck dead. It offers 3D-like-balls, 2D physics, 2D Camera. Basically an 2D game like the FREE mobile game "8-ball-pool". Steam or mobile, there are many games can do better than that. It's current experience is simply outmatched and outdated. This game has many poles that require coins to unlock, where you need to get coins from online matchmaking. You can do in-game-purchases like many other pay-2-win games, but there's no point for that when you are playing yourself. Many other games offer their best poles free. It would work better if there were enough players online. Just imagine you are the only player in Hearthstone, and all quests require online battles to complete.

Pool simulator, 2D. Place ball (if allowed), select direction, select force, watch outcome. EXCEPT for someone who actually plays billiard quite well... Then you can see a lot of flaws in the physics. I actually played better free browser pool games. Those mostly don't have human opponents, but this game doesn't either. Online community is dead, thus matchmaking is bad. Concerning the game changing unlocks if you play an insane amount of the game, it means that you are matched against a player with a so much better queue, that you don't stand a chance. AND, the game is nice enough to sell you premium currency, for which you can buy tokens, for which you can buy better queues. The best queue costs SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS. Ce jeu conçu en dépit du bon sens se foire sur absolument tout. Son petit gameplay était pourtant suffisamment sympa pour qu'on y retourne de temps en temps... - Design des tables et physique médiocres. Système de visée imprécis comparativement à d'autres billards. - L'unique moyen de gagner de l'argent est de jouer en ligne – or, le online étant absolument désert, vous n'êtes pas prêt de gagner de quoi vous acheter quoi que ce soit. - De plus, l'entrée des tournois en ligne est payant en argent de jeu. Les 'défis' pourris concernent uniquement le online... - L'IA est à chiеr, et le jeu ne dispose d'aucun réglage de difficulté. - C'est toujours au joueur d'engager (si bien qui si vous cassez sans rien rentrer, c'est l'IA qui aura l'avantage de choisir ses billes). - L'ordinateur vise généralement la bille la plus facile et/ou la plus proche. Or il rentre tout comme un robot infaillible tant qu'il n'y a pas d'obstacle entre la bille et le trou. - Mais si il y a des obstacles entre sa bille et le trou (ou même entre la blanche et sa bille), il tirera quand même bêtement afin de rater son coup / faire une faute pour enfin vous laisser la main. Or c'est frustrant d'avoir un adversaire qui rentre tout parce que c'est une machine, et qui perd juste parce qu'il n'est pas suffisamment bien programmé pour jouer logiquement. - Le jeu propose de lamentables achats de lootboxes avec de l'argent réel. Le shop du jeu dispose de queues de billard qui ont des stats différentes de puissance, maniabilité temps etc... Et même si ça ne transformera assurément pas les mauvais en bons, ça pue quand même le pay to win dans la mesure ou ces queues sont achetables avec du vrai argent via les lootboxes de mеrdе. Et du fait que le multi désert vous empêche littéralement de gagner le moindre argent, vous n'aurez plus aucun moyen d'obtenir ces meilleurs outils sans ressortir le portefeuille. C'est tout simplement scandaleux. Bref, ce jeu littéralement mort et cassé est une pure arnaque, et des alternatives bien meilleures existent à des tarifs moindres, voire gratuitement. Il peut éventuellement valoir le coup bradé à 2€, si vous souhaitez ne jouer qu'offline, et que vous abandonnez tout espoir de gagner la moindre récompense. Mais n'achetez sous aucun prétexte cette bouse pétée au prix fort !

This game is poor compared to the old version. The physics have been re-done by a non-pool player. The old game felt like the balls were rolling on felt. This new version is not worth the money, and is being played by virtually no-one.
