About
Made with passion by a one man dev team:

Hellbreach: Vegas is a wave-based demon shooter, made by Ash, the one-man army behind Infinity Ape Studios. Play as a solo survivor or a team of up to four and face a demonic threat. Set new records as you shoot your way through waves of demons in the neon-lit streets of Las Vegas.

Slay your way through a series of maps, each round more challenging than the last. Earn cold hard cash to upgrade your guns, and unlock other bonuses that will help you survive what’s to come.

Unlock over 19 weapons. Slaughter demons in your preferred style with a combination of modern and futuristic firearms and melee weapons.

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, so you might as well play the slots! Run the 'Win A Weapon' machine for a wide variety of weapons, or try your chances on our 'Spin A Boost' for a power-up. Not done winning? Give the 'Bag A Prize’ or 'Rand A Bang' machines a shot. Are you just looking to unlock those awesome cosmetics? Play our 'Pull A Skull' Machine for a chance to increase your end-game payout.

Endure endless rounds in our 'Survive' mode to see demon bodies pile up and go for a high score. Looking for something more confined? Play on a challenging smaller version of the map in 'Trapped'. Alternatively, just looking to hone your marksmanship? Try 'Gun Pro' instead to train your accuracy with every weapon type. Not done yet? Try your luck in our two other game modes: 'Royale' and 'Nightmare'.

5 game modes: Survive, Trapped, Gun Pro, Nightmare Mode and Royale.

Hellbreach: Vegas
As a huge fan of Cod Zombies I really wanted to like this game, I went into this with an open mind but this is just pretty lacklustre, it's only gonna take you a couple games to experience all this game has to offer, that is unless you enjoy going for high rounds on different maps with the exact same gameplay every game. It's not like there's an obvious story or an overarching Easter egg on the maps, it's simply an average hoard survival game. I'm also not a fan of the visual style, everything is shiny and reflective and feels like they just upped everything to the max because it's made in Unreal engine, same goes for the lighting, every enemy glows in some way that makes them feel out of place and the enemy animations feel like silly placeholders, they'll jump up and kick with both legs or do flips and ♥♥♥♥ while still moving and it just looks like their animations are floating towards you. The maps themselves look fine but everything else is so jarring that it's hard to focus on it.
Gameplay
Looking at the game generally, it has a lot of systems very similar to Cod Zombies, just switching out the theming to Vegas and the zombies to demons, there are weapons, special weapons, perks, powerups etc. If you are familiar with Cod Zombies then you'll know how to play this game. Upgrading weapons opts for a global % damage bonus across all your weapons which I liked, and ammo boxes are abundant on all maps so you can never easily run out but at the same time that makes it so that there's never really much of a challenge. From the moment I started playing I hated the movement, it feels like default game engine character controls if that makes any sense, you can jump and move around rapidly in mid-air, it feels awkward. And despite the slide having an animation that can be viewed by your co-op partners, in first-person it looks like you can mega dash across rooms. Different enemy types are a game of "how annoying can we make the next one", one explodes into damaging gas, another shoots at you from a distance, there's these tiny crow enemy that are so small that they're frustrating to even hit, and those goofy backflip and jumping animations I mentioned earlier? they make it impossible to hit enemies with single shot weapons. If you happen to like this game then at least there's content to back it up, with 10 maps, 5 gamemodes, 3 difficulty modes there's enough available for different types of players, but when the gameplay is as repetitive as it is I wouldn't see myself coming back to play it for fun. I respect that the game is made by a 1-man dev team, but this is just not for me.
Achievements (29/29)
It is not fun having to play 1000 rounds, every other achievement comes way before it so most of my time was spent pure grinding, there's not enough replay value to warrant such an achievement.
Settings/Accessibility/Misc
Customisable crosshairs. Region select for matchmaking. 13 languages supported (Dutch is shown on steam page but not in-game). Keyboard, mouse and gamepad support with key rebinding available.
TL;DR
Hellbreach is a wave-based zombie survival game with a good number of maps but a lack of replayability, meaningful gameplay choices and goofy visuals/animations. Awkward movement. Grindy achievements.
Check out my Curator page
Ach need cn too. 成就也需要中文。cloud save need.
Brak słów jaki to jest stolec ulepiony z assetów i pozbawiony optymalizacji i płynności. Techniczna kupa i gamingowe szambo sklejone z jakichś gotowców, lava zombie pterodaktyle i inne takie, takie.
poop w chuj ♥♥♥♥♥ gowno
basicly the " we have cod zombies at home" of games
Straszny crap Ale nadal lepszy od Killing Floor 3
Nem rossz game, el lehet vele lenni. Most főleg akcióba megéri az árát.
