might be worth 5 euro but not 28 euro. its really really really boring game!
No cóż, zniechęcili mnie ...
clumsy UI. units cannot pass each other. difficult mission 1.

An early purchase for me, I would not buy again. Clunky
Nessuna novità, UI povera. Voto: 5/10.
Simple but fun. Attacks, special abilities and magic are quite simple but at the same time it makes the game playable in a fast way. Random map generation on skirmish mode and random units selection add a lot of variety, terrain and positioning are the key to win. I made two mods on configuration files: Custom insane difficulty mod (hardest difficulty wasn't enough for me): I edited Squads.csv file so enemy units costs are halved. Visual cleaning mod: I edited default.txt [FOG] values to remove the visual fog effect, setting: START 1200 END 1900 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7pQVfMjX_A
If you like other Slitherine strategy games, you may enjoy this one - I didn't. My two main complaints: There is no unit progression between campaign scenarios. Each scenario is entirely stand-alone, only some (weak) background story ties them into a campaign. Units do level up in the course of a scenario, but one cannot carry over advanced units ti the next scenario. Also, the tactical display isn't as useful as it could be. E.g. enemy units' ZoC is shown, but not their movement or attackable area. This is esp. annoying due to the importance of positioning for attack bonuses. Overall: I played 3 scenarios earning all stars, but the setting did not attract me, and the mechanics were another down turn.

Hell of a good wargame.
